You didn't mention one COD game.. Call of Duty Strike Team. If i recall it was a mobile FPS/RTS hybrid game released after BO2. It had some weapons from BO2 such as the SVU-AS and Ballista which is what helps me recall the time period. The main gimmick of the game as far as i understood was switching between characters in the more traditional FPS scenarios except you could also switch to a from-the-sky view and control multiple units at once too, or send your comrade to take out/distract an enemy while you shoot it from the side. At the time the graphics were mindblowing and controls relatively intuitive. Shame i never finished it. Was great even with no multiplayer in sight.
Fun fact: Black Ops Zombies still works fine on modern phones. (Or at least on Android 10/11) It's no longer avaialble in the store, but if you install it through an APK you can play it completely normally. It's actually one of my usual commute/road trip games. Booted up a round of Call of the Dead literally yesterday.
Seeing COD 4 on the DS is just way too nostalgic for me. I remember picking it up at an old shop my dad’s ex fiancé’s dad owned. I played the campaign a few times, absolutely loved it! Being like 11 or 12 playing this thing was a blast! I remember kicking my brother’s ass in it whenever we played together, he stopped playing it with me cause of how much I won. God I miss those days.
finest hour and bro are completely different style of games they arent exactly full on ports its like final front world at war theyre different story lines in the same universe
I'm Australian and I didnt even know CoD Siege existed. If I knew about it earlier i definitely would have gotten it because i actually really liked Infinite Warfare
for the nintendo, there were also perfect dark and goldeneye 007 which are both violent games. they’re not super bloody like other violent games, but they’re still violent for a nintendo game
I still own a ps vita and black ops declassified can actually still be played online very easily since more people then you might think still play it in 2024
Used to play BO on Wii so much and all my friends at school would make fun of me but I was just too poor to be able to get another game system to play 1 game lmao
in this current era where emulation is at an all time high in popularity, I would argue that the Vita isn't a forgotten console.. But the cod on it, declassified.. well, its more like we wanna forget it existed lol
You didn't play a single one for the video did you.... Re the Vita version. It's still online and playable - got a decent fan base for online! Campaign was around 2/3 hours if playing without speeding through each level. Great game tbh. The ngage I had when it came out with cod, still got it in the attic. Great for the time
Black ops 1 zombies on mobile was actually good, but was easy. On kino, you could finish a high round with only 2 thunder gun shots. Dead ops arcade was great on it. You didn't add World at War Final Fronts by the way
I remember playing COD WAW zombies for on my iPod when I was in 6th grade lol. It honestly wasn't all that bad if you can excuse the touch controls (which were truly awful). Wish I could go back and play it again
I have black ops, zombies mobile a day before the game got removed I still play it and if you want the game to feel better, put it on max sensitivity if you playon the new iPhones I play it on iPhone 12
I can’t believe that I am saying this, but my first ever call of duty was mw3 defiance, ran through an Android DS emulator It would actually be a fun game if the campaign was the same, yet what we have is a random spin-off
