That was a special moment with Michael at the organ, the candles and the setting. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas to you all, Petherics, Phil, Yannis, Ryan, Alex and all who contributed to this channel during 2023. You are all awesome.
I have to confess that I didn't believe it was possible to get that organ back together. It looked impossible. I was amazed every time a new goal was reached. What an amazing and "Magical" accomplishment. Just beautiful.
I have never heard or seen anything more beautiful than Mixhaels concert and the Chapel with candles contributing to the solemn and reverential Concert. Thank you Michael, Billy and the Pethrick family and friends.
My dear friends, thank you so much for the gift of the concert. It was so incredibly intimate, thoughtful, and so very very precious. And, thank you for sharing your family’s Christmas with all of us.
The candlelight organ vigil gave me chills. With the flickering flames, it felt like the spirit of the nuns applauding the hard work of Team Organ Re-Build. Many blessings to you all.
Michael, thank you so much for our concert. It was incredible! Saving the chapel is so important! Merry Christmas to every Petherick, and all their friends who have worked on on the chateau and convent.
Same for me. Brought tears to my eyes. This history. The work and dedication involved. The magic of an important spiritual event. Only time will tell the importance of this undertaking. @@karenwilkinson5923
Thank you this beautiful concert. Everything’s perfect. The Brotherhood of the Immaculate Restoration did a wonderful job of restoring the organ and Michael is playing wonderfully. Merry Christmas to you all.
Thank you for that very special, unique time in the chapel! Michael, knowing what it took to produce that wonderful music, made it mean so much more. Thank you all for allowing us along on your journey.
The candles brought to mind the souls of past residents who prayed in that chapel. Truly beautiful! Thank you Michael for your talent and love of that organ. Thank you all for sharing this with us!
The Brotherhood of the Immaculate Restoration...remembering all of you taking apart the organ piece by piece in the Norwich cathedral, labeling, wrapping, making big wooden boxes to hold the pipes, carrying, packing an entire organ into a van, across the sea to its new home in France at the convent. Then carefully cleaning and repairing each piece, who's counting 900 or more individual pipes of various materials and sizes, figuring out where they all go, making it work and giving it a small voice one day which grew incrementally after that as the number of pipes put in place grew larger, to Michael's Christmas Eve concert. She sounds lovely and happy in her Chapel. I cannot believe what you achieved. The sky is the limit for the Brotherhood. Bless all of you, and thank you for the privilege of sharing this journey...
Gentlemen, you did it!! You made that building alive again with music and have given that grand organ new life. The lighting of the candles, immediately made me tear up, playing the organ moved me to complete tears. Truly and emotional experience for me self and most likely many others! So very proud of all all of you!
The organ and tea lights were incredible. Michael, you performed beautifully. Straight from your heart. Your channel is so warm and kind. Many, many well wishes for a beautiful Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year.
I've been waiting (impatiently) all day for Michael to play the organ. He really didn't disappoint, I had tears in my eyes thinking about the Nuns looking down from above and being beyond happy with your achievements. ❤
To the best parents I’ve ever seen, all 3 of your children are exquisite and so educated in their own interests, amazing. You’re children are so lucky to be blessed by you both and to see Mick there, helping, teaching is beautiful. I wish I had been so lucky. Michael you blow me away with your musical and artistic abilities, what don’t you know? Billy, you are fathers son.. a great developer, a visionary plus, plus And Sadie you’re skill with horses is incredible obviously learnt from your mother and your ability to “crack on” and join in and be part of any project and make the best of it all is to be congratulated. Wow!! What a family, what lucky little boys to be a part of all this creativity- wow. May you all have a truly wonderful 2024, with good health and continuing love and creativity. Much love Gwen, well down you, here’s to keeping it all on the road. Xx❤
Beautiful post. Thank you for playing the organ for us Michael. Last year, we were waiting for the first toll of the bell and this Christmas you gave us the first concert on the new organ. Thank you Billy and family and all the crew.
Happy Christmas to you all. Michael’s organ playing was indeed magical. Nice to spot Phil lighting the candles too! Hope you all enjoy your celebrations 🎉
Michael your playing was beautiful and the T lights were magical , Billy I’m so glad Phil is with you for Christmas you’re such a caring friend . Hope Santa was good to you all 💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️🇬🇧
You Pethericks really know how to produce the best “show”! The tea lights in front of Michael playing the organ were completely magical. It was also a lovely way to end my Christmas Day now that my guests have gone and the house is quiet once again. Thank you all so much for the special effort you take to bring us joy ❤
Marvellous! When the ceiling is finished, it would be lovely if you were to invite a choir in to sing with the organ, and invite the people of the town.
Y'all have totally outdone yourselves!! Thank you!! What an absolute blessing it was Michael on the organ, so very inspiring!! I'm so grateful for our Lord Jesus' birth! Thank you again!!! As my father would say blessings on you!! Pam
With the music and candles, the Chapel was Sacred once more. Thank you for sharing, blessings, and a Merry Christmas to you and all your families from here across the pond.
Dramatic with the candles! Congratulations to all who helped restore the organ and for Michael for playing so beautifully (without even sheet music). Thank you all for a wonderful Christmas gift to all of us. Merry Christmas 🎄
It was wonderful to hear that organ singing again. I have no doubt all the nuns that lived there are looking down and smiling on all the hard work to bring their beautiful home back to life.
Thank you so much for the concert in the chapel Michael, Billy, Nick, and everyone who helped make it happen!! 🌟🙏🥰🥰❤️ Absolutely beautiful, I started crying when I recognized Michael's shoulders and curls 😊 really cried when I discovered this is where Phil went for Christmas 🥰 TY Alex for the beauty ❤️ TY Billy for the warmth ❤ Merry Christmas to the Pethericks and all their extended family!! 🙏❤️
Half the world now has been moved to tears from watching Michael’s very beautiful and moving organ concert. Thank you for making my day especially special.
Thank everyone for the hard work and dedication to all your restorations. You are so very blessed. I pray your children grow up and realize how outstanding their elders are and that they turn out the same. Sending lots of love and admiration from this grandma in Texas, USA ❤❤❤❤❤
Michael playing the organ is epic! Thank you all for working so hard to make it happen for Christmas. It was wonderful! Merry Christmas Billy and friends🎉
Brilliant, the layout of the candles on the floor, at first glance, looked like Christmas Eve Candlelight service with people holding a candle, thought you were having an Eve service. And thank you Gwen for sharing the different ways of celebrating Christmas, between the UK and France, hopefully Billy will have video to share. But most of all how wonderful it was to see Michael in his element, playing music - the organ, creating, seeing the light back in his eyes and his infectious smile from years ago. Many blessings to all of The Pethericks, their extended family and friends, and a most fruitful 2024.
Seeing Pip on the organ keyboard before Michael started playing lightened my heart. I have the print of Pip on my wall. Looking forward to the book Michael is writing. Watching this video was the perfect ending to my Christmas Day here in the USA. Merry Christmas to all the wonderful people that have helped Billy at his chateau and at the convent.
Michael, you brought tears to my eyes, when playing the organ, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you all for the amazing rebuild and for lighting all the candles in the chapel. You made my Christmas ❤. Merry Christmas to you all xx
You have brought me to tears. What a beautiful video with the lighting of the chapel by candlelight, greeting us with holiday music, filling the furnace with wood. You have given us the warmth and meaning of Christmas. May this holiday season and coming New Year bring you and your family continued health, joy and happiness.
Feelings sailed down my body like a skiff on a river. My spiritual batteries have been briefly recharged, Thank you for this special part of this video. Thank you Billy for your "If it's to be...it's up to me" attitude which you have apparently inherited from your father.
Merry Christmas to The Pethericks et al. I hope everyone of you and the crew enjoyed making the video as much as I did watching the video. Michael on the organ was a gift to us all, thank you!
This made me cry. I found this channel in the fall when I was helping my father through an illness. He passed away in October. Watching the rebuild has been such an escape and comfort. Well done everyone. What a gift Michael. Merry Christmas and peace for the new year.
Oh thank you so very much! I wasn't feeling very merry but thanks to Michael I have my spirit back! Put me to tears. God bless u all and Merry Christmas!
Michael the music was so beautiful, it’s truly a Christmas miracle that you all were able to get those thousands of pieces of organ back to playing condition. I was so hoping at the end of the music the church bells would start ringing, I was holding my breath in anticipation. Thank you Billy and everyone that has helped to bring the convent back to life. Absolutely stunning!🙏🏻❤️🎄Merry Christmas to all.
Thank you all for your generosity in sharing these memories, your dedication, your kindness, and what wonderful talents combining to restore this historic building.. " I have never known such chaps witty, and sometimes silly😅 dust and muck with mixers and all that ladders that zoom up and down at a press of a button My God Billy there were tme when one got the chillys . The sacred Oak was treated as expected from window frames to Kitchen Island. Of course, the Oak has such wisdom that it speaks for itself. Beams gleaming a kitchen ceiling a master craftsmanship with an eager apprenticeship .Stone work and kitchen prep not to be forgotten. Then, music in the form of an organ itself became a puzzle. However, no troubles for you, chaps, and of course, we must not forget Pip the mouse clever he was watching you chaps rebuild his home. Piece by Piece a labour of love we heard it sounds tonight its tunes as we know not quite finished but what the matter Micheal you played it gently and we heard the heart of the Organ say I'm on my way I am a new with air that will feed those windpipes which will sound heavenly ❤ MERRY Christmas to you all
Incredible!!! So beautiful...Michael you brought tears to my eyes with those beautiful old songs played on the old organ that you and team brought back to life! Blessings for Merry Christmas!
Thanku all for a wonderful year of watching the amazing work being done. I cannot believe you had the organ up and going. Michael playing ❤❤ All the best xxx
Michael that was beautiful Brought back memories of Midnight service at church Sounded magical 🫶🏼 Thank you ❤️ Merry Christmas everyone ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤ Merry Christmas to the Petherick family, friends, to all that fixed the beautiful sounding organ. A splendid job Michael playing that beautiful organ. Lord bless.
Thank you so much Michael for the lovely magical Christmas music ❤ The nuns must be dancing on the clouds to hear and see what all of you have given back to the convent ❤️🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄
Just wow. Thank you Michael for your Christmas carol playing on the newly restored organ. And thank you Billy and everyone for sharing a small part of Christmas with us. Merry Christmas x
How lovely was Michael's playing and how fabulous that through all the very hardwork of everyone involved with dismantling and restoring the organ in the convent we were able to hear Michael's Christmas contribution. Well done Petherwicks, Jannis, Alexander Happy 2024 to you all.😘
That was fanominal!! From the beautiful music played by Michael, to the Chapel lights and tea candles, to the beautiful Gwen explaining you Christmas Eve and Christmas day meals to the jiz Ryan was doing with the mop. I just know you all had a wonderful time celebrating. Thank you for bringing us into your home and allowing us to enjoy all the amazing sites and sounds.
Merry Christmas all. Wonderful to hear Michael playing the organ - and well done for getting all the tealights set out and lit (I only cried a bit 🙄😀). It is going to be a huge library. Wow, a French Christmas is even more food than we ate today (7 courses). Yanis mopping the floor made me chuckle. ❤️
Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved this episode! It was fantastic seeing the organ being played with the wee twinkling lights, hearing the plans for the build and I loved Gwen's segment on cooking too. Michael playing at the end was the icing on the cake - just wonderful.
God bless you all🙏🏻 You are all special, but I’d like to say that it’s good to see more of you Michael, I have an affinity with your respectful way of working. Billy you are just a hero, I wish I still had your energy. Your patience and secure work in big spaces and on big furniture pieces is an example to many. Mick take it a little easy, let the young ones break the walls down. Alex, you have brought Billy’s channel to another level. Before knowing you were back, I saw on your way of shooting that you were back. If ever I make a film, I want you as cameraman. (Pay him well Billy, or you’ll loose him😊) Family Petherick and friends, I wish you all a Merry Christmas, I’d like to meet you all some day, thank you for sharing your dreams.
How magical! How delightful! How memorable! How unbelievable it is that the great organ rebuild was completed for Michael to play. You have accomplished so much this year. I can only imagine how magnificent the library will be after it gets the Petherick touch. I cannot believe the transformation of the kitchen. Well done to the whole team.
Michael playing the chapel organ surrounded by all the candles brought tears to my eyes. Knowing all the hard work that went into getting to that point made it special. It was simply magical. Have a wonderful Christmas 🎄❤️
Wow just wow ! The Pethericks are remarkable when Billy and Micheal dream they always deliver. The organ pipes look like they are supplicating to the heavens embodied in the magnificent painted ceiling 👼
Wishing a very merry Christmas to the Petherick clan and friends! You rock! What an incredible feat to hear the organ on Christmas Day, thank you for letting us be part of this massive project! 🎄🎹
This was absolutely delightful! All the hard work done by so many people has certainly paid off, Michael’s mini concert was just lovely. You created a beautiful setting that just added to the wonderful feeling of companionship. Thank you everyone for a fascinating year of videos, wishing you all peace this Christmas and may you all have a happy 2024!
Thank you so much for the wonderful organ music for Christmas. It sounded beautiful. Merry Christmas to you and your family. It sure was magical Billy. Thank you Michael for playing the Christmas music for All.
I love when Gwen comes on the videos! I loved understanding the difference between English and French holidays… in USA we celebrate basically for the month of December! it’s all about family! Just like you ❤
This makes me so happy! So glad Michael is there to play for us. Billy, I would never bet against you and your family ever for completing a any project. Merry Christmas!
