With opal, you need a plan to mount a stone. Dont back lne and go at smlothing it.

Hi Dave. I love your channel. I'm a beginning opal cutter, just getting started. I might pick up a few parcels off you. I know that you need some thickness to cut a solid opal. Doublets are common and popular, but they sell for quite a bit less. I would be interested to hear what your friend, the opal expert, says about the valuation.

Id say $10 to $15 a gram u would make more spitting ur lots up by grade of opal like best mid and low
