so this one kind of uh, blew up over the years didn't it well, just a friendly reminder: i don't work on calamity related music anymore, BUT i would really appreciate if more of you would check out my recent work, that would mean tons to me :>
i found this song hearing it from one of woops vids, so im from there edit i mean background music of one of the bosses so im glad i found this banger i always love a good terraria/like (idk) soundtrack
I will check it out! :) Is there a mod where this music replaces the mech's theme and all the other music you made for calamity? Coz in calamity music its not in
@@spazgameplay21 he never did work for calamity. They rejected him and his ideas. Acid rain though was based from some of his ideas, but he doesn't get credit for it.
Yharim: He clearly took some liberties in designing these. They're better off destroyed. Draedon: You're talkin mad shit for someone within my nanomachine range
for anyone who does not know, by "toys" its referring to in game lore for calamity. Dreadon, one of Yharims top scientist made the mechanical bosses and he considered them toys with how trivial they were in construction and ability. that, or he just loved to play around with them.
@@NotRealChatGPT in base terraria it was the mechanic who made the mechanical bosses, they were supposed to be simulacrums of the body of Cthulhu that the dryads fought and imprisoned. But in calamity, the lore is changed, Draedon is the one who made the mechanical bosses for different purposes at the behest of Yharim; the twins as sentinels, the destroyer as a planetary resource harvester, and prime as a kind of "enforcer" or "warden" I believe. In the lore drop for them (which is spoken from the perspective of Yharim himself) he knows those creations of Draedons were very crude and very early prototypes of what he actually wanted. Which is why the Exo Mechs exist. They are the perfected form of the three prior bosses that Draedon hoped to achieve. Draedon then becomes very interested in the player character after they defeat the Exo Mechs, Draedon believed them to be infallible and nigh unbeatable. During the fight with the exos he is there observing you and taking notes and commends you on your victory over his best creations.
Destroyer: I am programmed to destroy worlds! Twins: We are the Sanford and deimos of terraria! Pure destruction! Skeletron prime: *NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM*
I hate minecraft tech mods lmao, there are entirely too many of them and they're all the same, it all comes down to 60 different crafting trees for something that's not even worth the time spent gathering all the shit you need to get it
You feel vibrations from deep below. Even more screams echo around you. The might of this creature is overwhelming. *"The Destroyer has awoken!"* You feel the air getting colder around you. You remember the words of the old man. You see the frightfulness of the machine. *"Skeletron Prime has awoken!"* This is going to be a terrible night. Multiple presences watch above you. The sight of this thing is dazzling. *"The Twins have awoken!"* The machines are approaching. You can hear the lasers and explosions. You ask one thing: *"Why do I hear boss music?"*
Can't choose one man. Take it or leave it. No, but in all seriousness, yeah, I kinda do like Destroyer's Boss 3 a bit more than this. I just know that if I want the other two bosses to have a special theme the Destroyer's current theme has sadly got to go as well.
@@ENNWAY IS there a certain technological limitation causing that? Is it just not possible to rig a song to play in certain scenarios? Because Boss 3 is really good and i'd be mad to see it go
@@mikeax24 No, it's about being thorough. If one boss has it's theme replaced, and this theme was for all three, the other two need their themes replaced too.
Well, in my mind, I see Boss 3 as just the Brain of Cthulhu's theme, and Boss 2 as just the Wall of Flesh's theme, so I'm fine with all of them getting a new theme.
Destroyer: a giant mechanical worm created to excavate planets for resources Twins: giant mechanical eyes designed to act as watchful sentries Skeletron Prime: a horrid machine built with the intention of causing pure terror and pain
My version of the backstory for the Destroyer is that it's formerly an armed military train from the second Terrarian war, and it was destroyed by the rivaling nation, then it was cast away from a field, never to be used again. Centuries later, it was excavated from underground by my Terraria character and upgrades it and modifies it into what it is now; a mechanical worm.
Each of the parts of this song kinda sound like they'd belong to a different boss 0:32 - Skeletron Prime 0:58 - The Twins 1:23 - The Destroyer edit: I went and listened to the other themes and I was actually absolutely correct! You can hear part of Curse of the Dungeon in Skeletron Prime's section, sped up It Sees Everything in the Twins' part, and the background part of Evil Earthquake in the Destroyer's section
Really? I had no idea that he has made other themes for Calamity before (besides the Supreme Calamitas one of course) Guess I now know what to check out next.
“It’s going to Be a Horrible Night...” Me on First Night Of Hard Mode and getting that Notification: Oh NOOooOoOoOoo *DM DOkURO AHIT screaming Noises* Spazmatism: It’s Time for Trouble! Retinazor: And Make It Double!
All your themes made my Calamity experience so much better. You are an absolute genius when it comes to making a fitting and intense theme for every situation.
@@levkrasovsky4920 It is. Turq is a calamity dev too now in fact. He's also working on other vannila boss ones, so far my faverite one he's working on is Golem's one tbh.
The amazing cat wizard wow, what an absolute badass, and totally not just somebody bragging about some nonexistent traits so that people think they’re cool. Wow, such a cool dude. Woooooooooooooooooooooow.
Gotta admit this would be more fitting then Boss 1 or Boss 2 for Vanilla Terraria (aka this is what I would’ve expected Vanilla Terraria to sound like when facing the mechanical bosses)
Following our dreams does mean following our mistakes, since these mistakes make part of our dream, for now we can do the best to keep following our dreams. Thanks for all your previous effort Ennway, I value it and expect more to come. Keep it up
I feel like if this was actually added into the main game I would like this theme to play while fighting all three mech bosses than just one of them. Makes it somewhat memorable with this theme
"I see you have awakened Draedon's old toys. Once useful tools turned into savage beasts when their AIs went rogue, a mistake that Draedon failed to rectify in time." -Yharim The Jungle Tyrant
This shoud be the theme when you fight all the mechanical bosses at the same time also you get a achievement called mecha mayhem when you kill all the bosses all at the same time in one night
drugtrip intensifies did you know a long time ago there was a challenge to kill the eye of cathulu eater of worlds and skeleton all at the same time this was in pre release terraria and there was no crimson at the time
You Feel Tremors Deep Below The Earth Heaves Birds Flee the Trees *The Destroyer Has Awoken* This is Going To Be a Terrible Night the wind howls You feel a powerful Presence watching you *The Twins have Awoken* The Air is Getting Colder Around You You Are Filled With Fear You Hear machinery whirring *Skeletron Prime Has Awoken*
the Destroyer heard you call him the Eater of Worlds the twins heard you call them two eyes of Cthulhu and Skeletron Prime was called Skeletron you're screwed now
When Draedon is a boss, I feel like a remix of this would suit him perfectly, or a new song using the same motif, for a chaotic, fast paced fight, but with a how do you say this...? Metallic feel?
I've never played the mod but it feels fun to imagine doing so- kinda like an anime- id love to see a much more intense version and more "you will die" feel to it. As if draedon himself has made it his singular task to kill you as a grudge for taking out his machines, even if they were disposable or tuened on him in some way-
imo I think dok and turquoise should work together and make draedon's theme. other than that yeah I think death metal fits him too especially if he brings the mech bosses along with him
Turquoise, this is personally my favorite vanilla calamity boss theme because of how well it fits them, It sounds mechanical which matches the bosses perfectly
me and my brother just recently got around to playing calamity and what a treat it was. I am so happy i downloaded the extra music too. Good Job all around.
@@notmintmobile Also considering he already would have the strength of a superhuman, as he comes from an alien race that is most likely far more powerful and intelligent than humans. And even more considering he made Clone, Birb, Mechs, PBG, has something to do with Aureus, yeah.
The Destroyer: A mechanical world slayer Retinazer: Watchful sentry of Terraria that is armed with lasers Spazmatism: Other watchful sentry with the ability to breathe fire Skeletron prime: A quad-armed skeleton with the only intent to annihilate you You: some guy in titanium armor screaming for your life
