According to what I’ve seen, he was either caught in downdrafts and flung at the ground or his wing folded. You never know for sure with the media these days, but that’s what I’ve heard.

Thainã Monteiro For a comparison, most people who use the wing suits have around 140-200. A quote from Phoenix-Fly(dot)com 's FAQ page: "To fly a wingsuit you must be a current, licensed skydiver with a minimum of 200 freefall skydives" That said, this is not to bash Grant, his videos are awesome (this one in particular) and I hope that he keeps up the skydiving.

Awesome! When I get a little older, I might try skydiving. Heck, I'm just barely 70 so far. I made some of your cap darts recently that I toss onto my sidewalk to break up cat fights. Not only sends them scrambling away at high speed, it also imprinted on their little brains that hanging around my place is not smart - or healthy. Tee Hee - and I love cats - just not when fighting.
