I heard that the reason why star wars blaster are made from old guns is because pinewood studios in the UK where they filmed many of episode 4 was next to an old military armoury. Episode 4 was filmed with a very small budget they made do with what they could get hold off and so used old weapons that where stored in this armoury and added different parts to them to make them look "futuristic."
4:35 they *are* ww1 and ww2 guns, with bits and pieces added onto them, to give them that sci-fi aesthetic. At least in the original trilogy. They aren't copies or ww1/2 inspired props.
@@Juhani96 He said they're inspired or copied from ww1/2 guns, I'm pointing out that in the og trilogy, they *ARE* ww1/2 guns and not copies/inspired props.
It's not that weird tbh considering the Mauser C96 was developed in 1896 which was 24 years before the nazi party was even founded and 37 years before they got in power
The reason alot of the blasters from the original star wars films look like ww1/2 weapons is because those where the cheapest dummy weapons too modifie to look sci-fi.
The reason that they used ww2 weapons from Star Wars was because it was a lot cheaper to use weapons that already existed and add on to them, Instead of creating new ones
3:13 that’s the reason I wanted to play the bf franchise, it’s understandable that bf1 & 5 didnt have such destruction but 2042 could have it all… disappointing
The reason you couldn't see the objective is because the objective was temporarily locked if you looked at the top of the screen, you could've seen it. 6:12
I have a challenge for you. The Dutch soldier in BF5. The army used the MP-28, Lewis, Thompson and Johnson (last two were only used in the colonies) You have to use the brigade helmet and obviously play Rotterdam and Devastation
Since there were a couple of content drops for bf5 since you made the "ranking all sidearms in bf5 worst to best", maybe it is time to do an updated version?
Thanks for the Last Video about the peacekeeper. It really inspired me to do the same and now i am finally one of the proud owners of the peacekeeper!!!
anyway, since you unlocked the peace keeper, I would like you to remake a video ranking all pistols/sidearms in BF1 (pretty sure the peace keeper is gonna be number 1 on the list but still want to see it)
Obviously it wouldd? Why would it not? I bet the acr is returning too and the akimbo shotguns I bet every gun from mw2 is gonna be in the remaster cause it’s mw2 🤔
another star wars weapon based on a real weapon would be the dc 17 pistol used by captain rex, clone commanders and arc trooper which is based on the desert eagle
The A280c blaster is based on the STG-44. I think there was also a gun made based on the 1911. I know that the DC-17 is based on what looks like a deagle glock (idk which version of the glock) combo, or maybe just a glock. The DC-15x (the clone sniper rifle) was based on a combo of the mg-42 and FG-42.
Actually most of the Star Wars blasters weren't copied from WW1/2 guns, but they were prop guns/real guns converted to props that George Lucas and his team just modified to look sci-fi. But hey, if you wanna do more of this with more Star Wars blasters, you could also use the STG44 (A280 in Star Wars w/ no mag), MG34 (DLT-19 heavy repeating blaster w/ no belt), the WW1 variant of the Lewis Gun (T-21 light repeating blaster w/ no drum), the AWM L117A3 (IQA-11 from the Clone Wars), any M4/M16/AR15 (A280-CFE from Rouge One), Barret M82A3 (NT-242 from The Force Awakens & Battlefront 2), the MG42 (Valken-38X from Clone Wars & Battlefront 2), the Martini-Henry (Mando's rifle), the G36C (EL-16 from Force Awakens), the M60E4 (M-45 from Rogue One), the P08 Luger (A180 from Rogue One), and the SMLE No. III with a grenade cup (Jawa blaster). Just some suggestions if you'd like to do another one. I thank you for the opportunity to nerd on Star Wars blasters and have a good day.
Rt-97C as "mg-34"? (*buzzer sound) WRONG! Its actually the MG-15. Same general gun neighborhood though, they're both German, have wicked fire rates, and are both in star wars to boot.
You know what they say: Don’t bring a crossbow to a gunfight. All jokes aside I know that BF42 is just nerfing it, but the crossbow doesn’t one tap people in real life, and definitely not armed and armoured people.
I can't play Battlefield 1 anymore because in my country steam and origin is blocked, it's not permanent but it's still sad. Even though i was in a journey to unlock peacekeeper, and i has the escalation skin for the m1917. 😥😥
2mo later and the melee on BF2042 is still the same. You can literally be behind them, press melee and 90% of the time you won't get the animation or even damage them and thats if they're crouched/standing, good luck with proners.
Star wars is based around ww1 and ww2 but in the future or if it was in space, hence why the blasters looks like real ww1 and 2 weapons, there's an lmg that looks like an mg42 there's an ar that looks like the strürmgewehr 44, then there's hans pistol, then the pistols rex use look like a browning or a m1911
Tbag and other i feel bad for you...yall only just now mentioning that sw guns are just reskinned ww2 guns just bc recently they stated the fact in some sw tweet...for ww2 lovers its pretty fuckin obvious to tell before smh
you know if I was one of the players in BF2042 that he killed, the only thing that would go through my head would be: "What in the hell is this guy going using a crossbow in 2042?!" anyways nice video TBAG keep it up! :)
*Tbag idea* In battlefield 1 the 2nd story chapter, when you get out of the tank to repair it don't repair it and just progress the mission while not being in the tank.i tired it, it's hard and I almost made it to the pigeon scene.
Sorry to be that guy but at around 5:08 that's an MG-15 not an MG-34, however there's also an MG-42 is star wars but I can't remember the name of the blaster
I think the BF4 server must have been a 60hp 200% dmg server cus damn, thr sniper one shots and that SKS at the end... doesn't happen in a normal game.
