I hope you get to run a grain cart. Harvest is such a beautiful time. You seem to be enjoying this adventure. Thanks for sharing it. Please stay safe, and God bless.
You and I both have lower back injuries. We are about the same age. I understand everything you’re going through. I was a previous trucker (back when I was still in my early to late twenties. I get it. You are one tough man mentally and physically. Your family will remember that forever. 👍👍 Two thumbs up for you. I respect you. Keep going.
Kurt it's hard to believe how far the equipment has evolved over the yrs I remember running a 450 IH discin and plowing on my uncles farm at 7 yrs old the hooking the corn sheller up and dropping ear corn in the wagon to put in the bin now we have massive combines and tractors that self drive I've ran them all green or red I enjoy it at 62. Stay Safe and take care.👍🇺🇸
Ah yes. Tonka Trucks in the back yard. All metal too, no plastic. My Uncle bought me John Deere tractor with all the implements. It was almost too nice to get in the dirt. Massey Ferguson was my Uncles tractor choice on the farm. I loved it when he finally got a unclosed cab with AC.
Hang in there with your back situation, I know that it’s painful and discomfort, but keep with the therapy and doing the exercises to strengthen your core. I speak with the experience as I’ve had three lower back surgeries and neck fusion. I’m 62 years old and I still get around, just hang in there, buddy. Enjoy the content.
That farmer is probably very happy to get a good detailed like you. It will be a good start to the harvest. I had back trouble when I was younger but with a chiropractor's help we got rid of it. Just like you said, no falls!
Uh Oh!!! My father (who my mother used to call the Old Indian) would say when you see a caterpillar, the wider the stripe the harsher the winter weather. If it was solid black, that meant a terrible winter! Now Mom and Dad are both gone, so they can’t attest to or deny this info - take it as you will. Be careful running around out there and much love to the family! 💕🛣️🚛
Thanks for sharing your farming time and your family time, you have to spend that quality time with them as the kids grow up fast. Great job on detailing the equipment we wash and wax ours each year before harvest. God Bless You and your wonderful family
It's ok to vent and it's ok to not be ok sometimes. Cymbalta works really well for my pain and chronic fatigue syndrome as well as helping with irritability and such. Love your videos and praying for your back!
Hey Kurt I understand what you are dealing with and your back problems. Long story short I work 2 jobs, and I hurt my back when I was 30 yrs. old, I couldn't do a driving job because I like working hard on my feet. I worked in junk yards, build house, roofing, I hurt my back working in a warehouse and loved my job 110% never thought I would ever hurt myself I even put 10% of my pay in my 401K so when I retired, I wanted to travel around the USA Today I can't stand being in a car for ten minutes and mentally it bothered me I can't do the things I used to do. It's been 24 yrs now. Went to many Drs and nothing helped. I wish you well I hope you get the help you need. Sorry for the long Commet. Iam glad your wife is helping you.
Wow, I’m like your Canadian twin. Including your employment. However my spine is shot. They are willing to operate but with absolutely zero guarantee on anything ( no feeling from knees down, I cannot walk without aids, recovery from surgery would be 18 months) the worst thing I have done is go to a chiropractor who says that they understand and can help, they have made it worse. I’m praying that Kurt gets some answers quickly and does no further damage to himself. When we drive anywhere we need to stop so I can stretch. The best help I have received is from a physical therapist and just like so many other professionals make them listen to your body, pain and complaint’s. I have tried to send Kurt messages but unfortunately I’m sure he thinks I’m a know it all.
I know exactly what you’re talking about. I have bad back . 40 years of driving a truck . That’s my history. Lots of physical therapy is also my history. Retired and 74 and my back went out again and I had to wait 5 painful weeks to start physical therapy and it’s working. Pain in way down. Good luck. Enjoy the videos✌️
Check into special seating at the football games. Sometimes they will accommodate and let you sit in a chair or bring your own chair. They will do this for those whom need special accommodations and with your back issues that is something to consider
Out of all you are doing you might not have know choice.🏥 If it comes to saving your life and being around 75 years you might not have know choice. Good luck. 🚜
Hey Kurt, I was in the same situation as you had the same symptoms that you have and I tried everything I tried physical therapy stretching. I even got an epidural in my back. What works I started taking? Fish oil supplements. The highest dosage you can get. And two weeks later I felt better. Hopefully you can try this.
Nephew played 6 man football and was much bigger than the others, I missed it but my mother was still laughing when I came home. Seems my nephew recovered a fumble and was trotting down the field with half of the other team hanging on his legs and back
I see the Schwans truck at Casey's # 588 chicken breast bites are delicious 😊 I did 3 years in the spring with Simplot Soil Builders hauling Urea out of E Grand Forks MN , pays well Marriott hotel included , lasts 6 to 7 weeks , great gig for retired folks , Brian and Scott are nice folks.
Your an excellent detailer but it seems to me that you use an excessive amount of soap washing. But what do I know. I'm just a lazy old man who loves watching your family videos. THX
I had an Uncle in Norfolk Nebraska who use to tell me when the nerve in his back and leg started bothering him, he would lay flat on his stomach at night to go to bed and have his wife rub Fresh Sheep Dip ( feces ) on his back and leg. After sleeping all night he would get up in the morning feeling like a new man. Maybe Sarah can try that on you !
I can tell you what they will say because my back and leg was the same as yours. Get a good back brace belt like I did and your doctor problems will go some what away. But my friend your lower back will always hurt to some extent. I had the shot, the surgery and they are only temporary too.
You are probably going to have to get surgery for a herniated disk. My Dad was a truck driver and had to do that for his herniated disk. Hope you get better soon.
I know about back pain. Had surgery and a whopping 6 months with no pain. Now it's hurting again. No more surgery for me unless I can't move. Eat better and drop a bit of weight. I know it's hard because I'm a driver also. Well was a driver. I officially retired. Good luck
Kurt you know we love you to death... we really do! However, you are your own worst enemy! Quit beating yourself up over everything. You got some pain do what you gotta do to get it resolved. And if anyone tells you that the most important thing you should be doing is driving... well they're crazy. Those kids are the most important thing. And we love to see the band things and the football things. It's everything about your family... not just First Class. You take it easy bud, we'll see you next time!😀😀😀
You are still a young man, at least compared to me. You are close to and support your family better than most but you are not looking forward. If you don’t get those back problems resolved quickly by qualified medical professionals you could end up like some of my close friends. Physically unable to continue your great lifestyle I In to your late 50s and where will that leave your close family . . . Them enjoying life and you confined to a wheel chair or worse. Please see the pros so we can continue to see these enjoyable videos.
Dont take the shot it just covers the pain up then you may over do it on something and you damage the disc or disc worse been down that road. Doctors like keep moving the goal post to milk the money train. I seen it as emt fire vol fyi
You shouldn't feel the need to apologise for talking about your back pain. I've suffered with back pain in the past and sometimes still do (nothing as bad as yours) and it's always in your mind. I hope the specialist can give you some relief.

I am no expert and I am a big lady and my Dad was a big man with back issues but eating healthier and loosing weight may go a long way to helping with the back. Get better
Hi Kurt I hope you enjoy the steroid injection they put into your muscle and bone enjoy that cause I under no circumstances told them where to fit that 😅😂
A back doctor/surgeon will do exrays/ MRI. They will check everything and very possibly back Steroid shots if needed. Please, get a surgeon/back doctor. If like mine, which I still go to for Steroid shots when needed. Good luck, my husband and I know what you are going through. ❤❤❤❤.
Kurt if you know that a lot of your actives are causing back pain, and not willing to change some of your actives, For the love of your subscribers please stop COMPLAINING about it.
