Love the series~ I’m excited to see where your character goes. Once you get to the horde capital city Orgrimmar you can choose which expansion you’d like to quest through while working towards Dragonflight. This is done by finding a gnome named Chromie, marked on the map with an Hourglass icon. I think by default it will lead you into Battle for Azeroth, but the choice is yours :)
both BM and MM are range specialization. you get two pets as BM, and pets are more powerful and you reply more on pet dmg, you can tame exotic pets and etc. you do more dmg with your range attacks as MM.
Hello, hunter main here so I come bearing some tips! - if you go to into the options menu and have a dig around, there should be an option under interface that lets you turn on more bars for your abilities. Two of them (I can't remember the specific number they are labelled with in the menu) will allow you to have more keybinds by holding down either alt or ctrl, effectively tripling the amount of keybound spells you can have. I really recommend this as later down the line hunter gets enough abilities that this will come in very handy! - You can customise your UI (e.g. move the action bar) via edit mode on the options menu. - You can move spells around on your action bar by holding down shift and left-click dragging them. Drag them off the action bar to remove them. - You can rename your pet by right clicking on his portrait - either the one under your character's, or the one when you target him. - Pets are divided into different families that have special abilities, and these are grouped into three main types of pets - ferocity, tenacity and cunning. Ferocity pets give you and the pet a buff that lets you leech back health by doing damage, tenacity pets reduce the damage you take, and cunning pets (like your raptor) increase your movement speed. They also each have a special ability that you can put on your bars (a powerful enrage, a big damage reduction or one that removes root (stops you from moving) effects. I recommend going here: www.wow-petopia.com/index.php (the site is Petopia if you don't want to follow the link) to look at all the pets you can tame as a hunter. It will tell you if there are any special requirements to tame them, and what each pet family does (as there's quite a lot and so it would be a bit much to cover in this comment) - Go to your spellbook and then to the Pet tab at the bottom - these are your pet's abilities. Put abilities like growl onto your pet's action bar so you can have more control over them - e.g. growl is a taunt, and can be turned onto auto-use by right clicking it (so a glowy border appears around it) or completely off (no border). Auto is useful when doing solo content as your pet will keep your targets from attacking you, but it is better to be turned off in group content where another player is the dedicated tank. - If you have an active pet, mend pet and revive pet only need to take up one spot on your bars - they auto-switch between which one you need, depending on if your pet is alive or dead. - Wing clip isn't very useful for damage - use it to slow down enemies that are attacking you so you can create distance between you and reduce the damage you take. - Sometimes a quest will give you a specific item you need to use to complete it. if you look at the quest on the list that's on the right of your screen, you'll see a little icon of the item appear. You can click on it to use the item.
Woah! Thanks so much man, I'm litterly copying this into my word document of all the great tips you guys have been sharing and going to use it next time. Its been so helpful, amazing to see a hunter main watching my newbie gameplay :)
On quest that need you to use items like the goggle quest you look at quest log to the right. Look on right side of quest and the item is there to click on and use.
If you hold down shift you can drag spells off your hotbar. In the settings you may want to add more hotbars to better organize your skills, also autoloot is a good thing to enable as well. The zone you are currently in is still technically the Goblin starting zone, The Goblin and Worgen starting zones are fairly lengthy.
I was just about to hop on to fix and sort out all my spells and toolbar, so your comment came in Clutch. And wow, all the area's feel so different thats why I thought so, but that makes sense.
When you open specialisations menus there's two other talents underneath MM when you activate it drag them onto your bars ones Aimed shot forgot other as am warrior
quick tip ! if it ever gets annoying how your character says "i need to target something first" and things of that nature so much, go into settings, then audio, and turn off Error Speech. Great vids!
