I still have my Playmobil cowboys, natives, and Union soldiers sets as well as tricorn-hat-wearing British soldiers and this latter set came with white-bodied figures that one could "paint" with special Playmobil markers. They're all in great condition still which is a testament to how well-made Playmobil toys are, particularly since I've owned my sets since 1981 (I always enjoyed, but took great care of my toys). :)

These do look great. It's not what I collect but I can appreciate the detail and quality that is put into Playmobile products. Even though I know this was a paid promotion, I think you genuinely enjoyed these products and would have probably bought them at some point.

I loved playmobil as a young boy. I remember getting completely white playmobil guys and painting on their outfits back in the mid 70’s.

Hmmmm, 2 iconic vehicles made as a toy, with the VW Beetle being light blue and the VW T1 bus being in red and white, with both of them having roof racks? I WONDER WHERE IVE SEEN THAT BEFORE? It’s Lego, playmobil just ripped of Lego, it’s not a coincidence

MU figures and GI Joe figures are about .75" taller. If you bent the knees it might work, but the Playmobil vehicles are meant to hold the Playmobile figures snuggly so there's not a lot of extra leg room.
