@@niladride9579 Yeah, but he still wore the shirt, gave it his all and stepped up like a star player to help them win Katowice. A memorable performance that FaZe fans will remember. He didn't play like a stand in, he played like he was in FaZe
@@niladride9579 He clearly says '' niko and jks are former faze '' stand in or not a stand in is a former player for the team aswel. Obviously he performed with the team under the team name. He's not wrong so your fact statements are irrelevant.
Ropz what an underrated player, started from Mouseports to Faze. This crowd? Better than a major final dude! I hope in 2024 we will see a major in Boston once again - in CS2 :)
@@karunya9809 You know he is still underrated when people debate Zywoo vs S1mple. ropz is better than both considering he is mostly a rifler. His mechanics and aim are unmatched. The only player with a similar accuracy is NiKo who is not playing well these days.
I am not. I know that Hooxi is actually doing his job right. He has good calls (sometimes even genius ones). He is trying to fire up the team. He’s working hard af. There’s just the fact that 3 out of 4 big players in g2 were gone yesterday. I literally didn’t see anyone besides Monesy and sometimes JKS. Niko has decided that it’s time to kill only when it was too late.
I absolutely adore Niko and think so highly of him, but he is not holding up “his end.” He is supposed to be a top 5 dragged. He goes missing on big games too frequently.
G2 was too hype about their comeback on Ancient they tried to keep playing that aggressive on both Inferno and Mirage but FaZe just turned it on and caught them off guard. Inferno they really out played them. Heroic did the same thing to G2.
No no no, Faze is overaggressive, that's why they lose Ancient. At the last round all CT players is on mid, while G2 went on clear B plant. At this game Faze is overaggressive, that's why they surprise their opponents
I think we need to give G2 some slack, they were probably having an all-nighter gambling on CSGO roll now that Monesy is 18 obviously they were tired after such a wild night.
Again they lost because of NiKo litterally tilting the shit outta himself..... But honestly FaZe was just better.. And they are litterally unbeatable on Mirage atleast for now
As a bettor, i always come to watch how the teams are playing and calculate some numbers. There’s a lot of bad decisions from HooXi, and that one at 2:20 still bothering me. He picked up 2 kills, holding the only AK of his team and just choose to fight. Like everything else in life, It’s about thinking and taking some responsibility for the decision.
Are you joking... His aggressiveness got him his second kill...Hooxi was pinned down in the corner and his teammates cannot help him. He could only fight. And, some one needs to step up in an ECO, that is called responsibility.
See this is the problem , Why call him gigachad in the first place if he is underpeforming , its the same problem with tenz from valorant too. His so called fans named him the face of valorant when tenz doesnt even say he is better than anyone. I bet this is gonna happen to other pros too. So called real g2 fans saying hooxi is the gigachad , but what happens when he underpeforms? They starts to trashtalk them. Never seen such fake fans.
@@andyxd60 Disagree. Getting the 2 kills put his team at a massive advantage. At that point stop challenging, pull back and consolidate. In stead he hung around to see if he could get more kills, and lost his life, so he gave up the 2 man advantage. Tactically it was absolutely the wrong decision
@@huh9714 ... bro gigachad was a joke name g2 fans gave hooxi BECAUSE he goes below 1.0 rating. I don't even know where you're getting the fake fans thing from
given the pieces on both teams and the NA setting this is kinda wild. Niko on a different team is getting the "send them home" chant all over again whilst Rain and Karrigan on the SAME TEAM as during boston are now hearing the chant but in their favour...
yeah shout out to the crowd, I think we need some tournaments in NA. Only thing I hate is that here in Europe we have to watch the game so late in the night xd.
50:36 can someone tell me whats niko doing here? hooxi just came from ct, they smoke the bomb so one have to go and tap and then do something, sticking or double peeking when the other guy spray, but niko is walking default for no reason xD also what is hooxi looking at?
Shut up my Indian friend who has just started watching csgo 2 years ago. Judging him based on recent performances? Bro has been a top5 player while being entry fragging and rifling. Best rifler we have had, and some random guy thinks he doesn’t deserve a major.
@@ankurdwivedi5023 lol u r indian too btw, he has his time but he always chokes in finals,if it wasn't for jks and hunter going nuclear G2 might wouldn't have won kato as well. I also don't think he is the best rifler by any means, dupreeh or coldzera probably better than him.
Thats clash of the titans. 2 team who has most firepower in cs go rn. Even this Faze maybe has most firepower in cs go history. Ropz is another level. He can clutch any position.
I would say that C9 is pretty close in terms of firepower aswell (about even with G2 and a bit less firepower than faze). However when incomes to most firepower in csgo history than old astralis takes this everyday of the weak with luminosity/sk being the runner up. Astralis had a top 3 awper two top 5 riflers an Igel that was a top 20 player and on top of that the best support player ever (who could compete with dupreeh and Magisk in terms of skill, but was a bit less consistent).
@@timmodrow437 man u dont know anything about cs. I am ex pro player. 16 years experience. Even u dont know what is firepower. Astralis best team of cs. But it doesnt mean they had best firepower. They were best coz of their team play and utility usage. You can not compare any of them to Ropz or Twistzz's aim. Zyp was clutch master but he has never been top aimer. Only dupreeh and magisk had good aim but still not enough to compare Ropz.
@@blawhite24 Astralis, in 2018, had 4 players inside the top 10 ranking. This is the most insane firepower of any team in history. Just because someone like twistzz has more "snappy" aim, doesn't mean the firepower is necessarily higher. Firepower at the end of the day is about finding kills. Astralis also had Device, who is basically a S1mple/zywoo level awper in terms of stats. Just because they had better utility usage than other teams, doesn't mean their firepower wasn't off the charts.
@@blawhite24 both twist and ropz were around in the astralis era and at that time both of them weren‘t better than both dupreeh and Magisk who maintained higher performance even though they made more deeper runs in tournaments (therefore playing against more top level opponents). I understand that you say that ropz is crazy and better than the astralis players, but both dupreeh and Magisk have very comparable stats during their prime and all of that despite ropz being a lurker which allows for better stats in general, especially compared to entry Fragers. Dupreeh having the numbers that he had despite entry fragging is just insane. I get were you come from but Magisk, ropz and dupreeh are all very close in terms of skill. However at their best Magisk takes the edge over ropz in my opinion (but both have pretty similar mechanical skill at their peak). Twistzz on the other hand is clearly behind dupreeh and Magisk. Yes he might have one of the crispiest aims in the world, that looks truly astonishing in highlights, but good looking aim (in highlights) isn‘t everything. Moreover twistzz tends to be a bit inconsistent with his mechanical skill, when he is activated he can be insane, but often times he just is a bit above average, sometimes he even goes completely missing. Magisk and dupreeh were just way more consistent, although not as flashy, which made them better. I never said that Xyp was better than ropz or twistzz. However he was incredibly skilled aswell maintaining high rating despite playing support, coming close to Magisk and dupreeh at times, but in the end he just wasn‘t consistent enough to match them. Saying Xyp was only good at clutching is just wrong and doesn‘t do him justice. He was definitely mechanically better than current rain. Overall we have Device>Broky, Dupreeh>Twistzz, Ropz>=Magisk (although i still think Magisk peak level was better than ropz I can give this one to you), xyp9x>Rain and Gla1ve>>Karrigan. The fact that glaive completely outmatches karrigan in terms of firepower would be enough to put astralis over Faze even if ropz and twistzz would be slightly better than Magisk and dupreeh.
@@xxMyNaMeIsBeAsTxx if you can find kills , it doesnt mean you have good firepower. Astralis did it coz of their amazing team play and game plan. Even TL had more firepower in those days and they never won Astralis. Faze had insane line up even they lost 16-0 to Astralis. You can not say Niko, Olof, Rain, Guardian this line up had lower fire power than astralis. Difference was team play.
Man i reallllllllllly need Faze Clan as an Esports Org to figure this shit out cuz i love watching this squad play....id hate to see the team get disbanded
Sigh, again inferno, I'm sure they know that the pros are watching them always right? Idk why they're sticking with the same map always, indeed, that's their strongest map, but they play too much that the opponent will understand how they play and how can they play, imo, G2 needs some foundation and some new other map to begin with, cuz at this point they're predictable, also i didn't see them playing anything else than inferno and nuke or ancient, ig they should use something else so they can surprise others
They want Inferno because, apart from Anubis, it's the most T-sided map currently and G2 are a heavily T-side focused team. This is also why Overpass is their permaban and Ancient their 2nd ban. They banned Anubis this time for a Mirage decider because FaZe is also a good Anubis team, but Anubis is actually their best map, just not one they get to play a lot due to teams banning it. Nuke is fairly balanced currently and they have comfort spots for jks, m0NESY, and huNter on CT-side Nuke so they prefer Nuke over pretty much any map on the CT-side since it's pretty much the only map where they have a serviceable CT setup. Ancient here was FaZe's map pick. G2 would never choose to play Ancient because they have no idea how to play CT-side Ancient. I agree that their map pool is way too shallow. They should start integrating Vertigo into their rotation more often and regain some confidence on Mirage where they can out-aim their opponents more reliably.
@@zettour. good explanation, but it's the same for all of the other teams and if u want to win trophies,u gotta try all the maps, all the best team atm like heroic, vitality they're literally good with all the maps, so they gotta implement something u know?
@@zettour. anubis one of faze's better maps? They just found their footing recently though. They got cooked against ENCE, choked against Vita and almost lost against Navi
@@alienxthemostpowerfulficti2888 Well, you will always have the veto before picks so its always worth it to simply permaban map so you can focus on developing your strengths on other maps. For Heroic, their permaban is Anubis and Vitality has Ancient as their permaban. FaZe has Vertigo, etc. And it's not necessarily true that Heroic and Vitality are good on all maps. For example, Vitality can struggle on Mirage because they like to default and are a bit one-dimensional on T-side. Heroic are a CT-sided team so they've struggled to get their T-side Nuke going so far in 2023. Honestly, it's a hard call between developing their current map pool or integrating more maps into their rotation. G2 don't have the same depth that Vitality, Heroic, or FaZe have even on their favored maps. Their Inferno CT-side is notoriously bad and their T-side can be inconsistent. Their Nuke CT-side is good, but they have probably the worst T-side Nuke in Tier 1/2 currently. I'd say get more analysts and figure it out because the strategy department is letting them down right now.
I haven't even watched beyond the second minute and I can already say that Monesy needs a better team, from his perspective this org has failed. He's been hard carrying them for over a year already. Round after round, game after game, tournament after tournament, he's stuck in a sticky situation with hits teammates dead and he comes up with a multi kill. The success G2 saw earlier this year was less due to strategy and more due to the Monesy factor.
I hate those times when Faze drop a big lead and let teams come back by making suicidal mistakes like they did it on Ancient. Good to see they bounced back from the loss and won the 2 next maps.
Karrigan makes too many mistakes like 6:55. It's not even about in-game calling or aiming with him. He takes less than ideal fights and too many risks that don't payoff. FaZe advance for now and I'm certainly rooting for them to win it all but Karrigan needs to be better.
