Totally agree with your comment Guy got it sooooo wrong for Wolf that I have no faith or respect for Guy as a mentor and it's not the first time he did a terrible job with Jack Vidgen. Can't understand the music conductor for not advising Guy. Keep to singing Guy you suck as a mentor.

My Playlist I agree! Wolf’s voice can only go so far as well as well as his range..... and I think that’s where Guy let him down!

@@jm7326 Because he's probably gay and the labels don't know how to handle a black gay beautiful man who is quite feminine and isn't in hip hop / rap / trap or any other kind of stuff similar. This guy is singing since he was 18, and in the "60 seconds with Jhonny" made by The Voice he says that one of the most dificulties in his carrer is to stay true to who he is 'cause there's a lot of people in th industry trying to change him.

Singing is a real talent, so we cannot deny the fact that they are both amazing. Different quality of voice and amazing tone😃 But try to watch and listen to filipino singers too. They are amazing

"looks fresh and yummy"???? This is the voice, Johnnie's world class and while Wolf is unique in terms of having such a deep and bass voice, he's just nowhere near on par vocally.

I see your point. However, I'd say that it wouldn't be impossible for Wolf to beat Johnny on a later stage. Unlikely, yes, but not impossible. At this point, Johnny has the upper hand, as he has the talent and he has years of experience to back it up. But let's not forget how important growth is. We'll never know, or even have a valid estimate of an artist's "peak" of artistry and skill until he/she has stopped doing what he/she is doing altogether. If Wolf happens to learn much faster than Johnny could at this point (usually fresh talents have an advantage on this part), then he has a chance to hone his talent until such a point where he is at least at par with Johnny. The important factor here is the CHANCE to grow. When there is an unfair pairing, you have essentially removed a contestant's chance to grow.

My Playlist points taken. I agree with what you said. But in all fairness, Guy, has been in the same position, but he battled them all. He was also paired with great contestants but he proved his worth. I think, it’s not yet Wolf’s time. I truly believe in God’s perfect time and perfect plan for our lives.

You're right though, Guy has battled them all, but I'd say that the format of "Idol" and "The Voice" isn't the same. There isn't a mentor perse in Idol, so they have no responsibility in pairing who people have to "battle". Since there is a "mentoring role" in the Voice, the coaches (also acting as the judges) have hat responsibility. Format-wise, Idol is like a showcase of what you already have and The Voice may focus less on that, but also more on how much you can grow and what else you could do... I'm not saying that one is better btw. What I'm saying is that since Guy is not just a judge, but also a mentor, I think that it's his responsibility to be as fair as he can be with the pairings. It probably has to do with the coronavirus, given the fact that not too many people should be at one place at the same time and if you can just look at the audience... they’re not there either you can see them through the screens so it’s probably that! 👌🏽
