Thanks Stez, absolutely mate you definitely should, even just pull some bga chips from dead boards just to practice, you'll be slow at first (took me an hour for 100 balls the first time) but I can do 100 in less than 7 minutes now 😀 I'd love to see a video of you attempting it, would be awesome 👌

Ever since my first Xbox 360 got the red ring of death then my mates one got it I've been into the internal workings of the consoles and the temperatures they run at and how to try and keep them running cooler I've still got my Xbox 360 elite running but I've got 2 80mm fans blowing cool air into the side of it runs lovely and cool now same with my PS4 pro I bought a donor shell and internal chassis cut a hole in the top over the original fan and mounted a corsair 120mm fan blowing cool air down into it can't wait to watch more of your work 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

It is possible to rebaling ps4 processor with heat gun station or not possible with out reballing machine?

This could very well be my issue. I am getting 3 beeps followed by a shut down, this is usually on games that are requiring the fan to work harder to keep everything cool. Apparently the 3 beeps before shut down are indeed a ram issue. My son pull down the pro by tugging too hard on the controller whilst it was plugged in, although it only dropped about 3 inches it's possible the pads have become loose. I'll take a look after ordering some bits and piece to help me clean (just in case) the fan and heatsink and possibly repaste. Thanks for the video!

Hello My PS4 is showing the pulsing BLOD. Sometimes it starts up in safe mode when I hold the power button and am able to play on it but at other times it does not and just switches off. So could the problem be with my HDMI port or APU needs a fix?

Really enjoyed this video, some great information. I'm currently trying to replace a ram chip and just wondering if the solder balls used are also leaded? Also are 0.45mm the preferred size? Thank you again for such an enjoyable video. :)

They're normally lead free but I use leaded when reballing. 0.45mm is generally the proper size for ram ICs :)

Good Morning COD3R Awesome Video. I encountered a PS4 that is giving error CS 34878-0 I did every software related issue and the only hardware use was a New PS4 HDD. The error code happens in APU games, like COD, Ghost of tsushima and so on. Can you identify that it is a VRAM error or a GPU error. Have you encountered this error code? Thanks!

I don't think you could I'm honest but all the ram modules will need to match and be compatible with the memory controller. Unfortunately I don't actually know which memory controller Sony use on their consoles

My question for you though my man, is what is the standard temperature that every ram chip should be at? Doing this repair is possible for me, however, diagnosing which ram chip is causing the problem is the thing I'm struggling with, so what kind of off temperature would I be looking for?-

Hey sorry I never saw this message. The standard temperature is pretty irrelevant since the ram will heat up differently depending on what's being done on the system. The ones you need to look for are chips with a considerable amount of difference in temperature or rapid increase in temperature
