Yea, it’s kinda stupid to blow $500 ($1000 to a scalper)on a console that only has a few games and barely any storage space ....especially at Christmas when that $500 should be spent on presents for others. Wait a few months until the library has expanded, they’re in stock, and Sony figures out a reasonably priced external storage solution.

It's because games for the PS5 are still being ported to PS4 for the next year or so, so PS5 games need to be designed, and are bottlenecked, by PS4. If that makes sense.

My first true "next-gen" experience with the PS4 was Bloodborne and it impressed me. Even at the time many thought it looked average, but the fur effects on one particular boss and the lighting in general stood out to me as far beyond the previous generation.

Give it a year or two for the new stuff to get a user base established & developers to get a handle on the new hardware, & we'll start to see a more notable difference.

I played Brothers with my friend each controlling one side of controller. That changes the game entirely, and adds anther replaybility to the game.

Great list! I'm so glad you brought up "Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons" because that game is so unique and the story is just fantastic. I know your lists are usually about games in physical form, but right now you can get "Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition" on the PS Store for $5! Which is borderline criminal.

Metal Jesus, even though I've never met you, I can tell you are a really stand up guy. I told my brother that if I dropped dead and he wanted to get rid of my mostly sealed game collection, that he should donate them to you. Heck, you would probably drive the 10+ hours to pick them all up.

Not less then 10 dollars but my hubby and I bought the Yakuza Collection when it was still on sale on Bestbuy site for $25 during Black Friday week. Amazon, Target, Bestbuy, etc. had lots of sales through out November. I'm pretty sure it was bought during Black Friday week though. Luigi's Mansion 3 and Zelda Link's Awakening we bought on Walmarts site on November 25th. Each game was selling for $30 so we bought both. :)

Not less than 10 bucks, but picked up Fallen Order on BF and damn is it a great game. An awesome Star Wars story with elements from Dark Souls and Tomb Raider. Highly recommend.

Such a great time to be buying PS4 games. Meijers have randomly had clearance on them at various locations I've been to. Managed to grab Evil Within 2, Devil May Cry 5, and Uncharted Lost Legacy for under $4 each. Grip looks really cool - will be keeping my eye out for that one for sure!

Ps4 version of Tearaway also utilizes the PSVR camera and mic if you have one hooked up. Loved that game.

Race The Sun was one of the first games I got on PS4 and I still play it now! Like you say it's great to kill short periods of times. It's also great if you just want to chill with a game late at night and not have to think much

I'm going to have to finally learn how to expand my ps4 storage.. Currently only play a handful of games on it. Using my ps2 seriously feels like a luxury in comparison, just being able to pick any game, pop it in, and play it immediately is amazing lol.

Thief was my favorite game. Preordered it for my Xbox 360 way back in the day. But there was a glitch in the game as the auto save feature would cause the game to lock up when you moved from one part of the city to another. It only happened to me once but ruined my progression and I wasn't going to start all over. Gonna buy it for the ps4.

Nice selection of games there. Definitely gonna pick up few. Still can’t believe the PS4 is last gen. On a technical note, Trine is not a 2.5D game, it is a fixed camera 3D game. 2.5D is when flat cards or planes are positioned and rotated in 3D space.

Loved the King's Quest series. Managed to get it on PS4 and PS3. PS4 digital was less expensive than the PS3. They were asking for $30 for the complete collection. But it was definitely less expensive than when it was first released several years ago.

I got the plague tale on black friday from the PS store and it is amazing. Narrative wise and also game play is super nice. I think its one of those hidden gems on PS4.
