Nice vid! I like the PS portal better than other devices because I can buy games for one plataform only! Also because of the dual sense, I love the feel of this controller
For me even if I had a PS5 I don't wouldn't see any use for the portal unless the portal was bundled with the PlayStation 5 for free. I'm not going to pay $200 for a streaming device if I have my phone, an ipad pro or my steam deck.
but with the phone you don't get full screen you have black bars on each side of the screen and can run the battery on your phone down qwick and carrying a ipad and controller around seems like to much plus there not going to give you something that cost them money to make and give it to you for free that's dumb
when i use mine at home it's perfect no drop in resolution or fps i get consistent 1080p60 with no issue now when i'm out of my house performance my very but still playable and not completely game breaking experience
I have 1gig down and up, with the ps5 hardwired. Have an asus rog router that has 8 antennas. Tried setting the output to 1080p, unplugging the hdmi, etc. I’ve been playing on my rog ally and it looks almost flawless when you set the bitrate at a higher level. I bought a ps portal this week just to see if it’s a better experience. Doesn’t even come close. It definitely is more comfortable, but it looks like a 720p stream on a nice glossy 1080p screen. The games themselves don’t even look like they run at a smooth 60 frames. Wait for this trash to go on sale or wait for updates.
@@jordanl5436 when your portal is connected through hotspot on your phone it will send a signal through your service over the internet and find your ps5 which should be on or in sleep mode and once it’s found it will turn your ps5 on and establish a connection and then you will be able to play your games
Nothing against it but personally I don’t like the idea of something with such inconsistent performance. Sometimes it runs great, sometimes it doesn’t , sometimes resolution drops, sometimes it doesn’t, etc
i just set mine to 1080p sense i dont have a 4k tv or monitor all i got is a 1080p60 projector and beings how the portal is only 1080p it just makes sense lol
Who told you that. you don't have to turn on your PS5 first to use the portal I turn on my portal it turns on my PS5 that's what I mean people just not knowing what to do or how to work s*** is giving out false information that being said I have no idea what's wrong with your hi-def resolution mind it's perfectly fine is the same if not better if I'm honest the portal it's dope but what does my opinion matter I'm just going to give it to you anyway if anybody like it or not it is steal for $200 bucks people are just cheap LoL 😂🤣😂 😂 😂 🤣 😂 I'm glad I have that problem

Sony should never made this divice at all and it cost $200 ! what a waste of time and money and also guys if u want gaming for travel just get a switch or a steam deck or even PSP is worth it trust me !!!
