I've been telling people for years. Handles on a hand held portable makes soo much of a difference. It's just more comfortable. More people would buy them if they had longer handles to hold with

WiFi streaming as a secondary feature…acceptable…but as a primary feature? No thanks. I’ve played stadia, Xbox cloud, local streaming (steam link, Sony remote play, Xbox remote play, atgames local and cloud, and meta quest airlink) and local / cloud streaming is just not good enough yet. Too much latency and visual degradation. The best/most passable experience I’ve had is actually with metas airlink. But still prefer native gaming 100%

It’s only 200 bucks and it allows you to play the PlayStation five wherever you want in the house. I also think it’s not bad looking I’m so far has worked pretty good for me

I was going through the comments. Why are so many of them just emojis? 😂😂😂 anyways I am an Xbox guy so this has no appeal for me. When it was first announced I thought you would be able to download and play games, almost thought about buying a PS5 just to have this, then I realized it was just cloud gaming. Kind of deflated any enthusiasm I had. Nice honest review!

Don’t see the need when you can use an iPad and dual sense controller and have the real controller and bigger screen.

I don't get why anyone would find it "ugly", it's just different than how the pc handhelds look.

It is a waste of money I got mine and tried it I returned it the PS5 without the portal plays slot better

Got one for my son not that great internet connection a bit slow make you can’t play the game ,

Portal will not work with $50 internet. Its not the portals fault, mine works lovely everywhere ($175 internet)

I personally don’t think it is worth it,but for your situation it makes sense because you need to be able to play ps5 portably whenever you can fit it in.

Waste of money!buy a backbone and you can play gamepass and emulators too.
