I really love these throwback games. Games now a days have incredible graphics, insanely detailed backgrounds, and more fighting moves than ever, but the 80's and 90's eras of games had something they didn't. They had more heart, more fun, and the stories were more classic and interesting. Not dissing the new games. But the classics, they stand the test of time. The music may not be Bose stereo sound, but again they all had heart, and I miss these classic games.
I had played Top Gear Rally and heard of Top Gear Overdrive, but didn't know there was a Top Gear Rally 2. I'm just hear for nostalgia. . . I was playing Need for Speed- Hot Persuit Remastered over the weekend, and I was just reminded of playing Top Gear Rally on the N64.
I didnt like this game in the begginnng, but it has gained me over. I think its a pretty good game it gets better the more you play, you can tweak the controls and car response to your liking, and the graphics while lacking color the are pretty decent, car models and water, mud...etc effects are good
This game was such a disappointment for me as a kid! I read all about it, and was a huge fan of the first game, but that one had much better physics than this one. It was very ambitious for the time, and I still played it for hours on end, but it could have been so much more!
I love the second. I’m going to make a full story of TG. To get in my channel, Check out video called “Phenomenon of Need for Speed. The story of making.”
I remember looking forward to this after having loved TG1. But as soon as I started playing I knew I’d just as well have thrown my cash down the road. Absolutely ABYSMAL. It was like they got Stevie Wonder in to test the handling. Utter rubbish.
yea and it wasn't even particularly good to begin with. Snowblind should have been given the task, their arcade rocket fuelled engine in TG Overdrive would have had no problem handling more detail at the rally sims slower pace.
