Great fun! Used to play it when I was younger and I think this game still holds up today, theres so many different modes that never gets used in the campaign. Like towing a caravan and try to keep it in some form of shape.
i still haven't found a replacement for this game, it looks old but its so much fun, people have suggested wreckfest and i've tried it but it feels too clean, and the driving too rigid, and its missing all the fun racing modes this game has. if they made a 2nd one of these games and focused on improvement, omg.
This game was so good and was ahead of its time for many years before well BeamNG or wreakfest came along. Even tho wouldn't say its destruction gameplay is as impressive anymore it still a beast of a game as it's still fun today + the soundtrack rocks like really it does and it might even take some people back. I remember when i picked this up my dad was getting really grumpy at me for decideding too long seeing as we were there for nearly 3 and half hours and it was slowly start to get dark outside on what game i would buy for a late Birthday gift as some sort of problem happened can't recall anyways and in the end i went for this over the spyro a new beginning and sims 2 pets. As i was leaving the store i already was having buyers regret symptoms, how wrong i was not knowing how epic this game actually was gonna be about 2 days to discover a great ps2 gem. funny enough both games i thought i would far more enjoy over this i did get to play way later in my childhood and found it even more how right of a call picking this game was, sure enjoy sims 2 pets, but this is one of my fav of all time ps2 games for sure so glad i got to enjoy this.
Yeah it sure does. I would pre order that in a heart beat well as long as the studio is giving the right respect to this old title that is and well not rushing it out.
Yeah here where i am (uk) it was called driven to destruction, what come on, that was a far better name then Test drive Eve of Destruction what about 10 years later i found out about its other name idk what they were thinking with this eve of destruction.
