As over the top as the Super Robot anime genre of the 1970s was, one big element that added to it were the baddies our intrepid heroes were locked in battle against.
The godfather of the genre, Go Nagai, had a fascination with mythology and prehistoric history. Which would explain why two of his creations, Getter Robo and Great Mazinger, fought hyperevolved dinosaurs who managed to avoid extinction, and remnants of an ancient, hyperadvanced Greek empire!
In this episode, we do battle with both the Mechasaurs and the Mycaenae Empire before they get their hands on four allies for our Robot Army - the Nubians, keepers of the original Cybuster!
