As a mum who has a career, its important that I can be a mum but also have the support of my partner to continue my career. I've been able to work part time so I can be there for my children also. As long as you can communicate your needs to your partner and feel supported you can have the best of both worlds.

Enjoyed this deep podcast and Charlie has some great, mature views. You should do a podcast about your school years and different experiences & how your families taught you life skills & made you the men you are today.

A strong relationship must be prepared for life to swing in roundabouts and I’m talking about the need to support each other when something goes wrong in the individual’s life, not swinging in the bedroom 😉 The highest earner may lose financial security and that’s what keeping the home fire burning is all about, regardless of sex or gender 🎶 it takes two baby 🎶

Also I have advice for the guys who come early! Just tell her sorry, you’re just so hot. Then finish her off with enthusiasm. Simple! She’ll be flattered and satisfied 😅

I feel like they both were trying to tiptoe around what they truly wanted to say because i think their views align more with the Jordan Peterson, Fresh and Fit and even a little of Andrew Tate. I like it, don't be afraid to share you true opinions who cares if you get cancelled.

I 100% agree with Miles and if I ever have children I want to stay at home and raise them myself. I know for a lot of families it isn't feasible to only have one working parent but for me personally I strongly feel that because I want to stay home with the kids I'd make sacrifices in other areas of my life. I love living in London and in a perfect world I'd have at least 4 kids and send them all to private school but if I had to move out of London to somewhere more affordable, only have two kids and send them to a state school then so be it. The thing is these days it's almost taboo to admit all this as a woman. I feel like we're supposed to want a high flying career etc and be the strong independent women with two perfect kids, a kept husband , not have a mental breakdown all while making it look effortless and not forgetting to bake the cakes for the school bake sale but its just not what I want. Is it wrong to just want a simple life?? Of course, no shade on what others want, if you don't want kids/want kids and want to work/want kids and have to work, theres no right way. Both my parents worked and I'm super close to them both so working doesn't mean you're a bad parent. Do what works for you and keep the judgement to yourself (not you Miles and Charlie). If everyone could stop the judgement life would be so much better!

This stems from men being able to get away with ignorant, BS behavior because they made more money and women were dependant on them so they couldn't leave. Shouldn't matter who makes more money. It should be 50/50 effort and taking care of one another. Providing for one another more than just money-related things (i.e. house, food on the table, etc )

I do not want to work a regular 9 - 5. I just want to home with the children whilst my man works hard to become the best man he can be.

When I was in a long term relationship, my partner earned more than I did and was the main bill payer. I was quite comfortable with that and felt looked after and secure. My parents had the same set up so that was the norm for me growing up. However, when my relationship ended, i had to be much more independent, my career has grown so I can financially look after myself now which I must say is a good feeling. Should I meet someone else I’m not sure I would get back into the same situation as before.

It’s going to be hard to find a man tbh. Because your going to want him to make more money than you and your older now. Most rich men want younger girls who make less than them. So you might have to settle.

@@gabrielle6326 you can live in your own delusional mind but truth is you probably not in your early 20s anymore and from what I understand you make a good income. The type of man you want does not want you lol. Therefore you will have to settle. Or you could go back to your ex he might be the only guy to take you back.

I don’t care who earns more money, I just wouldn’t like the difference to be so vast that it creates a weird power dynamic. I think both people should be self sufficient individually so that neither is dependent on the other.. the thought of needing my partner to pay my way feels incredibly infantilising

I cannot for the life of me fathom why Miles or any guy would care if their wife earned more money than them.

I guess a woman can do both…be a boss and raise a fam, it’s just about starting working very early to be successful early on and have children in mid 30s 😅…
@isabelmuchwa8638
@isabelmuchwa8638 Год назад
This is a fallacy. Did you know that after the age of 30 a women’s pregnancy is high risk? This is why most successful women are single and lonely with no kids. It’s hard to do both.

Modern feminism has ruined modern women. I am a women and 100% agree with miles. All women wants a in the relationship leader, a man that makes more money than them. It's so attractive.

I agree with Miles but I have plenty of friends who don't. There are plenty of women who are happy to be the main breadwinner, I know loads of them so respectfully I have to disagree

@@indianoble6483 Fair. But I bet those women genuinely don’t respect the guy that they are with cause it’s emasculating to guy. And it puts the women in her masculine energy which women don’t like.
