Great vid Sam! truely inspiring to see you shoot with the 50mm 1.8. People often say it is a garbage lens but i beg to differ and as you can see you take great pictures with it :) I have the a7iii with the 50mm and a tamron 28-75, just started out. Been watching your videos for a few weeks now. And hopefully I've learned a lot. Only just venturing into Street photography after may years off. I bought the samyang f1.4 85mm and all I can say is wow or as you kids say it's sick lol. Just spent the day in London first time out with it can't wait to use the #tag 👍👍👍👍

Lovely work. Thanks for showing some great evidence that it is possible to get killer shots with a 50mm out in the field . I love street photography and I love shooting with my 50mm lens, but I need to train myself to look for what is possible with that 'sometimes closer than you'd like' focal length. Also inspiring to see some fast decision making for some stealthy shots. I find I used to be much more brave shooting in public. That's it, I'm going to get out there! Cheers

Thank for a daily videos, going to make myself a Xmas present Sony a7iii and 50mm 1.8 to get started. Maybe you could consider to do one food photography POV? You have plenty of street and car photography in the channel. You are having coffee every time you go out and it could be a shot or two of your lunch or something each day and it will make up 8mins video out of it. Just a suggestion:) thank you

I would recommend getting the canon 50mm 1.8 and a cheap adapter. It is way sharper and costs the same.

Those last panning shots. How did you adapt so fast ? Just changed shutterspeed fast, and thats it ? And to what ? Any speed you know works almost everytime for panning ?

I’d say 1/30th works for most shots gives good enough blur
