I remember seeing this movie in theaters at age 16 and when Paul Walker came onscreen as Skip, my jaw literally dropped. In that moment I related to Mary Sue and her wondering who he was so much. That crush never went away and I still miss him. RIP Paul.

I know your comment is over 4 years old but here in 2022 I just relate to this so much. My wife and I have ceased even watching new releases in the past few years. Maybe we will catch a new release every now and then but it's all so polluted by left wing ideologies. It's hard to watch. It's so on the nose. Anyways, we have chosen to pick movies that are at least 10-15 years old or older. They were so much better when Hollywood was focused on making movies and telling stories sans the politics. I never thought I would say this but I think foreign movies are actually becoming better than Hollywood movies because foreign filmmakers aren't as concerned with the woke agenda or virtue signaling to their small echo chamber. There was a time not to long ago when that would have been a crazy thought to have. I used to think Hollywood was untouchable when it came to the movies. It's very sad.
