This song means a lot to me. When I was in high school I prayed that my favorite singer and composer Jose Mari Chan will compose my team song for my future husband. And God answered that. Then I prayed that I will met my future husband and yes I met him in 2007. This song means a lot for us as this is our team song. Thank you so much Mr. Jose Mari Chan and Ms. Regine Velasquez. You both made me cry and I am beyond grateful that you share your God given talents to the world and even touches my life as well. Once again, thank you! I hope one day I will be able to meet you both in person and thank you personally!
This two artist is really my favorite back then.no wonder until this generation they still reigning coz they love whats there doing in this industry.and they work hard on it.
Si regine yung artistang kapag tinanong mo or kausap mo, kahit mag segue sya ng ibang topic, nababalik pa din nya ung sinasabi nya sa original tanong at issue. Goes to show na matindi ang presence of mind nya, smart at may sense kausap. Sa dami ng napanood kong interview nya, consistent sya sa pagsagot. Kumbaga sa singing skill nya, kaht magkamali sya sa lyrics, di sya naliligaw sa tono. Sobrang tindi ng listening skill nya sa nota. Unlike ung ibang artista, hindi natutumbok ang tanong at issue. Maybe overwhelmed at marami gsto sabihin kaya di nasasagot ang tanong.

Ang difference lang, yung sales ng kay (R2K) Regine ay achieved within more or less than a year. And remember may overlap pa yung album nya ng KAilangan ko’y ikaw OST album & regine sings the classics live album. Whereas yung kay sir Jose marie chan, collective ung number of sales at matagal ung span. Bilang walang kamatayan ung christmas song nya.
Yung kay Regine hindi lipsync, pero iwan ko kay Ninong Joe...bluetooth ba ang mic niya bakit parang di ata nakaconnect ang wire kung di man yan wireless.hahahaha. pero baka ganyan nga order galing shoppee.hehehe

Pre recorded ung kay regine gaya ng duet nila ni Lea. Both regine & lea prerecorded their parts and inedit and was synched when shown. Kasi mahirap mag duet over zoom or video conferencing. As for JM chan, original track & vocals ung s kanya at lipped dn. He’s used to do it naman so it’s not an issue. Di nmn ito vocally challenging song. And they didnt do it naman to convince the audience that is is actually live. Ang idea is to bring these two icons together to sing their classic song together again despite the pandemic and given the contact-less collab.
True. Kasi mas magandang pakinggan kung recorded. Buti sana kung magkatabi sila para ok lang sana gawing live. Yung iba naman guesting ay live. Siguro dito sa set na ito ay kailangan lang siguro talagang gawing ito at ok pa din at hindi naman yun problema basta maayos ang pagkakakanta at pagkakarecord ay para sa akin walang nagbago. Kung lip sync man to eh nag improve si Regine kasi napanood ko na sya maglip sync sa eat bulaga when promoting a movie at halatang lip sync talaga. Anyway, kung lip sync man ito there ‘s a good reason, alam naman nagin na di stable ang internet.
I really think so. As a reginian, alam mo kung live ang performance nya. Pre-recorded ito. But i think they opted to do so pra kay Jose mari chan. I heard him sing live recently at hindi n ganyan kapulido ang boses nya. But it doest matter. Pre recorded man, the song is a classic.

I also think it is lipped. Not bcoz di kaya ni regine or di kaya bayaran ng Suy sing. More likely bcoz of JM chan. But it doesnt matter. Its not as if they want to fool the audience that they “actually” sang it live. It’s the idea of them re-living the collab and the celebration of a classic song that matter. Regine’s is prerecorded and was lipped. Yung kay JM chan, i think original key & vocals
