I feel like the Please Don't Destroy is such a breath of fresh air of SNL. The cast that grew up with Laser Cats and Digital Shorts is finally sweeping into SNL.

"Are AGs even involved in policy making?" When the kid said that, I died.

"I don't pass the bar. I only go in." This is literally such a mood. I missed these PDD videos

I just love how the office was INSTANTANEOUSLY an overstuffed campaign headquarters, more so with each passing shot. Please Don't Destroy are consistently amazing. Also, shout out to the actual Steve Kornacki, aka the nerd every American has a secret crush on.

I usually love this skit but the Real Steve Kornacki showing up was everything. Best pease don’t destroy ever

As someone who enjoys watching Steve Kornacki during Election Night coverage on MSNBC, I laughed at the fact that I couldn't tell if S.N.L. really got him to say these things for the sketch or if the show's editors did a great job of faking what he said on Election Night for it.

2:44 - "Are AGs even involved in policy-making?" That poor kid says the smartest thing anyone said in that room and gets thrown out. American politics in a nutshell.

2:52 The commentator's terrifying and unexplained ability to teleport made me completely lose my shit. This whole sketch is a fever dream nightmare and I loved every second of it.

This felt like a response/contrast to the rest of the episode, which makes it more interesting. Glad to see more of PDD with the cast and a good use of Molly's energy. Nice to have the teaming of all the people hired in season 47 as well (PDD, Sarah, JAJ).

As an Ohioan, I would have been delighted to give Molly a chance. 😆

This sketch is brilliant because not only is it funny but it directly gives name recognition and exposure to a new cast member too.

After seeing Update end without Molly appearing, I got worried that they're not getting enough screen time, and then lo and behold this brilliant video ends the night. Everyone was terrific, but the pacing and editing of this really shined. Still wanna see Molly slay it on Update soon though!

Just heard the announcement of Molly’s exit from SNL yesterday and I’m really sad to see them go. They were such a funny addition to the cast and they were such an absolute blast in every single sketch they appeared in. Man, we’ll miss you so much, Molly and we wish you good luck on your future endeavors.

Their formula of razor-sharp writing and fast cuts (with that same razor) is funnier than a mug

This sketch is absolutely brilliant laugh-aloud political satire. It feels like a return to the spirit of the original hungry-as-hell cast and crew, what once made SNL a cutting edge part of American culture. Start with your script where the cast actually interact, the action builds and the lead makes you believe anything can happen. It’s a fresh start and departure from the rut that SNL has been stuck in for years where the structure of a sketch sacrifices any genuine comedic back and forth between cast members and defaults to a tired format where each actor does a “wild and wacky” schtick, and it ends not with a bang, but a whimper. So, thank you. Good work! Keep it up, writers and cast!
