'PLEASE DON'T FALL IN LOVE'
"Please Don't Fall in Love" is a song sung by Cliff Richard and released as a single in November 1983 in the UK.
The song is written by Mike Batt. It was the second single released in the UK from Richard's 25th Anniversary studio album Silver.
It reached number 7 in the UK Singles Chart and earned a Silver disc for sales over 250,000

I played my Fender Stratocaster guitar, into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen USB Audio Interface, then into a 'Reaper Mixing Software' programme to record the sound whilst playing to the backing track of :- 'Please Don't Fall in Love'
Using Reaper & Guitar Rig, I produced the desired sound required and saved the finished soundtrack to my computer as a MP3 file.
Then I placed the camera footage onto the timeline in CyberLink PowerDirector19, 'BUT' I replaced the camera soundtrack with the 'NEW'
computer mixed soundtrack from Reaper and Guitar Rig, re-edited the footage to produce the finished video of :- 'Please Don't Fall in Love'

Hi Fons, I very often search RU-vid looking for a certain song but end up with something completely different. This song was a typical example, one from Clliff and theShadows which I had forgotten about until it popped up whilst I was surfing the net. I took it on board and this was the outcome, I’m pleased you enjoyed it…………..Enjoy your week weekend my friend It’s the big match tomorrow night………. Thanks Phil………. I keep coming across these old Cliff and the Shadows songs from the early days and once I’ve heard them …… i just have to play em ! Hi Olav , sorry for the delayed response…………… pleased to hear from you, glad you liked my latest arrangement and old Cliff Richard song from the past. ( thought it worked well as an instrumental ) We didn’t manage to win last night………… ( I thought yet again we should have done so much better, credit to Spain, I said that they would win the competition from their first game in the competition.) Hi Ian, a lovely little Cliff Richard’s song, which makes a really nice instrumental , you played it perfectly and I thought you had a nice sound, lovely to hear some of these memory joggers…. Hi Alan, yes, I managed to find yet another one, I’m glad you enjoyed it, I find that once you go digging around on RU-vid , heaven only knows what’re you end up. I always seem to end up finding something which has nothing to do with what I’m looking for…….. ( great fun though……. I love it ) Yes….. tomorrow is the big one and I’m really looking forward to it, I’ve said from the start ‘Spain looked the team to win the competition and I still think they have a good chance, but I will be rooting for for England. Hi Ian, a sadly beautiful tune played with a melancholic touch on the go Fender was great to listen to. The playing, the deep new tone and BT coming together to present " Please don't fall in love " so beautifully. A new song to me. Morning Krishna, your response to my latest instrumental is very welcomed, and I thank you for your kind words. I dropped on this one by sheer accident, I had forgotten all about it, A somewhat melancholy song but it makes for a good guitar instrumental. Glad you enjoyed it……… something a little different, You can always depend on Cliff and the Shadows for a result. Talking about results………. the big day has finally arrived. England V Spain, I said at the beginning of the competition that Spain would win it. For me, they have been the best team in it but now my allegiance has to be with my nations team, It should be a showpiece of a game, the quality of the players on the pitch should prove to be a good football match. However, i’ve been wrong before. Come on England we want you to win but not with penalties....…………. A result during full time is required as we don’t want anyone saying that it was a lucky win. Personally I think England will win, my prediction is 2-1 to England. The flags are out at the Sanctuary and we are all geared up for the big game………... Hi Jon, an old Cliff song bought up-to-date, glad you liked it, found it by accident, one I had forgotten about. Thank you for your good comments which are always appreciated. I always look forward to your response to my instrumentals. Well…….. Cup final day has arrived , hope you’ve got your scarf and rattle ready, it should be a good game and I’m looking forward to England putting on a show. Spain have been good throughout the competition and won’t be a pushover. All I hope is that it won’t go to penalties (I personally don’t think it will) I also think that both sides are capable of scoring so it should be a very interesting final.
