The song is brilliant in general. I love it how he says "or you might get fired" cause Brent thinks that's the only reason you shouldn't make fun of them lol
In addition to respecting disableds, we must all remember to never pick up dwarves. They aren't babies, they're just small - and they have rights. Spread the word and peace out guys.
*BUT WE SHOULD FIRE THEM OUT OF CANNONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY'LL FUCKEN LOVE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
@IMINETI MUSIC Problem with religions is that there is always some groups who miss interpret the writings and start killing people in the name of god as a result, but yes you can believe in whatever you want if that makes you a better human, just believers should not impose their religion on others, because we all now know that religions are just beliefs and cannot be proven and wrong, but we as humans we are capable of believing in anything we want even if it's wrong, so if it makes you feel good why not.
Reminds me of the scene in The Office where he's introducing the disabled lady to the group, and he starts to say "Have you all met the ..." and catches himself just in time and finishes it "... this little lady?" 😂
He just mocks everyday discrimination in a very satiric way so that it exposes even the most ignorants ones and will teach them a lesson ( if they are smart enough to get the message) JUST GENIUS 😂
@@tonato17 That's why the Office works, because his jokes and comments aren't intended to be offensive (most of the time) but instead to make people laugh.
@@spinny003 Spot on. He is sensitive but at the same time very rough. btw the part of the song where we sings "we all feel tired" is great, cracks me up...but then kind of the ruins it adding the "sometimes" Will be watching the office again, probably when I feel tired.
I send this one to my 90 year grandma who has muscle dystrophy. I knew she wouldn't understand it's sarcasm and now she's sharing it with all her friends.
Pure acknowledgement that people need to lighten the f**k up and have a laugh, people take the world and their life far too seriously, this is why Brent is the best
There is no track our family has not joined in singing throughout lockdown. Ricky continues to be the genius that has us laughing constantly. Exceptional as always!
I queued an edited song only version up on my sister's laptop when she was supposed to be doing the worship projection at Church last Sunday! This came on and thanks to the fact my sister’s laptop display went black and she couldn’t see what she was doing, the entire church watched about a minute of it before my sister managed to turn it off. Needless to say - it was the funniest thing I have ever witnessed and I practically shat myself watching all these people trying to sing along thinking it was sincere! Edit: for those calling bullshit. I recorded it and uploaded it to TikTok so have a look. 😂
there´s no way normal people could keep a straight face listening to that without a script...and even so. I honestly don´t think could. But then, I´m not an actor! ;-)
The song is actually quite beautifully sounding which makes it extra bizarre and funny. Like when the guitarist does the little lick in the intro... its so well composed and so damn disturbed hahaha
" its for that little guy there " David Brent was a genius creation and the office and extras were brilliant bits of telly Ricky and Stephen merchant respect
I watched this, as somebody who is classed as having a disability, along with a friend whose girlfriend, who exploited her disability just a bit too much, had just split with him. Now he insists that had nothing to do with where I'm going with this, but... Somehow, at that moment, the song was the funniest thing in the world to us. He couldn't breathe, and I was more amused by how hard he was laughing.
Rickys got more balls than 99% of comics out there, totally un-pc but totally hilarious and probably the most intentionally cringey thing I’ve ever seen.
The funniest thing about David Brent is the constant conveyor belt of random people who are staring at him with such complete and utter incredulity they're practically giving themselves eyestrain
I wish the Office would return to BBC 2. 30 minutes was the perfect platform. When I watch this film, I will watch it in 3 x 30 minute sections and play the soundtrack at the relevant intervals because I am mental. Bye.
