I knew they wouldn't take his concern so seriously from the start, because he's only 12 years old, but this is a concern that transcends this show and this particular case. Nowadays many people are letting their duties as humans for later, because it's more intresting to be on our phones. If I was a guest, I would've said this is a concern, and not only a particular concern for this case, but for South Korea as a society, and for the rest of the world as well.

The mom should really set a time for her club members so that she can take care of her kid because this will only get worse but other than that he is so cute

This isnt taken heavily because he is young but thats where everything goes wrong, a concern is a concern no matter the circumstances, the fact that he has that concern at a young age us whats wrong, how he can already identify that he is not loved enough even if its by his definition of love. I lovr my phone, but i love the people around me more. I have kkt group chats that has over 1000 members, at first it was exciting that i was in a space where we shared a common interest, but the world outside is so much better. Now the constant ding pisses me off that i muted all my chat rooms😂 knowing the son is your only son he should feel more cherished and shouldnt feel like your attention is divided especially knowing he lost to the phone that his significance his less of a phone. Ur phone isnt ur child it doesnt need your undivided attention. Focus on the present and live in it before its too late

Its sad that she tried 8 years to have him and now she doesnt take care of him. Hopefuly she learnes to balance things better in her life so that they are both happy.

Think about a really bad scenario : They are crossing a street, his mom texts somebody and walks faster than her son. He tries to get after her but a car is faster and hits one of them because the mother just looks at her phone. Wow, that got deep real quick ^^` But still, it can get really dangerous.

The mother should really pay more. Attention to her own son more than her club members, leaving him out like that will just make him feel left out and unloved , they say this isn’t really a concern but it is, for his age he really should be left out like that.

Towards the end I didnt think it would be a huge concern because they both love each other and now that he was able to vocalise his troubles I feel she will change easily for him. Im glad that they included this because my parents are like this these days and it is an incredibly relatable concern

What they did at the end for him was enough to make me feel proud he had the courage to come. They may have acted like they Didn't take his concern seriously, but they did. They're comedians ofc they're not going to seem serious in some situations. I hope now, that he's 14 (15 Korean age) he's got a much better relationship with his mum and that he finally has a phone 😂 I wish them both happiness and good health now and in the future.

I think it's a huge concern she is putting others before her son, those days with him will not last forever, he's a precious gift ...the others texting she needs to see they are adults they need to act like it, he's still a child and she's wasting precious time with him, you don't get it back, and one day she'll regret the time she wasted she could have had. We woke up around 7 am to find our mother already went to work then will be home at 6, sometimes more later, and will lie down and use all of her time in her phone. Then repeat everyday. On weekends, she usually sleeps and watch tv or in her phone. She never cooks food, we ALWAYS buy already cooked meal. Whenever she cooks, its always just a fried and processed food. And our father is a seaman and is always away most our childhood and even now that we are teens already.

I think a lot of the comments are a bit harsh towards this mother, she very clearly loves her son a lot and is scared about spoiling him too much since he's an only child...it's a concern for him because he doesn't have any siblings or other family to hang out with when his mother is busy, and that's a shame, but its not his mum's fault either. Parents aren't machines that function only in their children's lives, they have lives of their own. I think she could spend a bit more one on one time with him for sure and maybe not be so reluctant to help him with his homework if he's really struggling, but it's a bit ridiculous to say she's a bad parent, she's trying, which is more than a lot of parents do...
