I admire him for calling on people to pray, recognizing the sovereignty of the almighty God. But, I also hope that God gives him peace and confidence in his eternal destiny. This life, for ALL of us, you and me and him, is just a vapor in the wind. I am 64 years old and I should NOT be alive by any human reason. I have stared death in the face, and for some reason, unknown to me, God pulled me back. When I asked the doctors for an explanation, the could only say "there are some things we can't explain!!" You never know, until you actually face a situation, how you will really react, UNTIL you've face it. But, from that experience, I know one thing.... I am not afraid of death. Death, where is thy sting?!?! Because death in this physical realm only opens the door to the timeless existence to be present with my Lord and Savior!!! I pray that God give guidance and blessing to the doctors treating him. I pray that God bless the rest of his life, however long that may be. I pray that God gives him PEACE, and that God be with his family as they go through this trial. MOST OF ALL... I pray that God do his will and that God receive glory through the judge's life and that it be a blessing to all around him. Whether that be a miraculous healing, or whether that may be a miraculous peace and faith that God gives him through this time... my prayer is.... to God be the glory!!!

I am praying for you Judge. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal colorectal cancer. It spread throughout his entire chest lymphatic system. Everyone, including all doctors told us there is no hope and to start making arrangements for his death. That was over 11 years ago. NEVER give up hope and know God has a plan for us all. Speak with your Lord and Saviour, just like you would your brother…and tell him you no longer can handle was is going on with your body and to grant you healing. He promised us all he would do everything for us as long as we “follow him”. I’m going to speak to the Lord tonight and tell him that we need people like you here on earth, more than ever now. I want to explain to him that even though you were a good man throughout your life there are 50 more evil men behind you, waiting to take your spot. I won’t accept your spot being taken up by such men, who you were put here to punish, rehabilitate, and everything in between. You are still needed here. You work here is not done yet. I may just know you through RU-vid and your TV shows and I am Canadian and not American. But my father and mother taught me many of the values that you instill into your kids and represent in your courtroom. I have a lot of respect for you, and how you have so much compassion for people today. Compassion, caring, morals and respect are very rare commodities these days. We need you to be around life longer so you can teach our younger generation these forgotten skills…before the grasps of evil get them forever. Sure, you may not preside over murder cases, or punish/rehabilitate, murderers, or more serious offenders today but you are still teaching important life lessons to the ones that you do interact with in your courtroom. I am sure that these interactions have already had a profound effect on many peoples lives today and is continually spreading outward to others daily. It’s simply cause and effect! Sending prayers! My husband was diagnosed with Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer as well. It was a tough journey, but I am thrilled to say that he is 5 years post Whipple surgery and cancer free! While I believe that God gives doctors knowledge to help, only He knows our beginning and end! My husband and I took the position that we were in a win, win situation. Each chemo session, we entered the building knowing we were entering our mission field. God provided many opportunities to bless and encourage everyone in the chemo room!
