I sobbed pretty much through the entire story. Thank goodness Alice kept trying to find someone who would believe her and God Bless Debbie. Well narrated but so very sad.
Love your stories, this one has left me reeling wth anger. Money talks in the most abhorrent way at times. How anyone can pooh pooh a child's cry for help is unforgivable at any level. Angels do exist within empathetic people. ❤
Yes you only hear stories like this and pray that they don’t happen to anyone. But in truth things like that and even different kinds of abuse. Praying for a fallen world that one day will come to the end🙏🏻🙏🏻
I always waited for your story. This one is as good as the others and with a happy ending. At last Alice will have better life because of Debbie. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful story I love and enjoyed it!!!
This story was hard to get through. Too close to real life to fit the "true love and other fables" category. That said, the narrator did a good job on what I bet was difficult for her to read. I stuck with it in honor of children everywhere who are in perilous situations. They deserve to be thought of and rescued. I pray for all kids daily.
Unfortunately in real life, children treated that badly are very rarely believed 🥲🥲 Having worked in a therapy center for children’s mistreatment I was able to to see how often a child is not believed by those who should help😔‼️😔
O boy. This story was hard to listen to. Just the beginning description of the child made my heart ache. Your excellent presentation always makes me want the next episode
I love that Debbie took the extra steps to help Alice ,that old saying about see something say something truly can mean life or death for someone, trust that gut feeling always !!!! An amazing story ,thank you for making these videos for all of us to enjoy !!!!!! ,❤ XOXO ❤
Loved your story.i went through something similar but unfortunately I had no family back up.i had 3 kids baby was 8 months old when I found he was cheating.before he left he blackened my eye fractured my cheek bone and broke 3 ribs.asshole.but karma got him.he was dishonourably discharge from the army.i worked 3 jobs but we made it the kids and I.we are still close to this day.thank you for bringing the light to domestic violence.❤❤❤
This story shows authorities are useless. Thank Almighty G'd for touching Debbie's heart to get to the truth. I hope the child can forgive her mom because I can't!!
It was sad I just can't believe things happen really I can't believe it no man is worth having a man in your life the have to want your kids ladies stand up for your kids some ladies can't have kids and the one can a abuse them why give them up for a family can give them a better life they can't fight back don't treat them bad or you see what happens later😢
Debbie was such a loving and caring person, she couldn't let a child be abused, especially that badly. I'm happy Debbie acted on her gut feeling and saved poor Alice' mother should have gotten time in prison also. The stepfather should have to pay a hefty settlement to Alice that would secure a good education and living expenses for a long time, if not for the rest of her life for all of the mental and physical abuse. I'm happy Debbie was able to adopt Alice, now she can live happily without fear. Thank you for your wonderful stories. You are definitely the best story teller on the internet. Great job. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
✨A good story, about hard realities, thankfully with a happy ending. (I knew a young woman who'd been abused. 10+ yrs later she'd still not yet fully recovered, healed.) I'd also taught 3yrs in middle school. Can't speak for others states/countries; However, >by law and school directives< where I worked: if a teacher OR any school professional has serious reason to suspect abuse happening, then >it MUST be reported to the proper authorities.< If, as in the story, there's ample evidence on the child's body and, on top of that, the child directly states what's been done to her… it's inconceivable AND criminally negligent for the principal to a) turn the child over back to the alleged abuser and b) Not to inform police and child services! Honestly, my heart went out to this girl in the story. And knowing that such things keep going on is too terrible for words. Yet, these things must be talked about so people are aware… that it's Not only in stories. (And none of this is about corporeal punishment: I was spanked when I was a kid, yet that's an entirely different thing.) 💖Much appreciation to the Narrator! Thank you, adding enjoyment to the listening experience. And thank you for bringing up a difficult subject.
What a disgusting mother! What she allowed to happen to the girl was reprehensible! Sad story until Debbie adopted Alice. Alice deserved the kind and loving Debbie after all she had endured.
I had a vicious stepmom and my dad slapped me when she lied about me. I left home a few weeks later and refused to go back there but sadly I married at 15 and had 3 children. My husband hit me giving me black eyes frequently. I stayed for ten years and divorced him and never took him back although he begged me often. I am now married to a man who would never hit a woman and it’s been 26 years. Both of them are lazy though.

Why the story dragged around many details related not to the main story: the young girl needs help. But talking a lot about life of the lady that poor girl asked for help. I don't agree with channel.
