How did the supposedly "owner" lost the dog ? This dog was almost "glued" to her saviour, went wherever he did, how the former owner managed to lose him ? Either this former owner mistreated the dog or this person didn't like dogs and left him far away as not been found. And the dog clearly wanted to stay, instead of rejoicing when meeting his former owner he kept looking at his saviour, almost begging to have him take it. May God grant happiness to the dog ! I agree the dog did not want to leave with that man claiming to be her owner. How could you let her go with him? Seems very cruel to give hope then take it away.

Check often especially if she is not fixed and can have puppies, was she lost or thrown away, or did she escape due to cruelty, if u don't know she may be going back to a bad life .... u should have met him at his house and seen if he was a breeder or dog fighter, and needs a bait dog! Please don't just hand her over never knowing, that is not responsible rescue ..... OMG he has her .... go visit her niw please!

I would have so many animals if I lived where there is stray dog running around. I have adopted many cats that have shown up around my house. I just got the newest little girl that has been roaming around to trust me and can pet her and of course I feed her. We just don't have dogs running around like these here in our state.
what state are you in Debbie? I'm sure they're strays and every state; both dogs and cats. My last dog was a stray that I took in and had him for 10 years. I just put him down the first of this year because his legs gave out. but I only have a cat right now who is a stray and then one of my other dogs was a stray. anymore that's the way I'm going either if there's a stray in my neighborhood I'll bring home or I'll go to a shelter and adopt one. no more shopping for a dog or cat.
