No Japaneses car can come close. However if you ask me with lot of external forces and many other parameters i bought 2.8 Crysta in 2019 Nov. I still use my Tata Aria tje comfort is like Mercedes level and when you drive it, it feels like a tank. I recently has a accident in which it crashed to a light pole and the pole bent and fell on road and my bumper did not even break I was surprised. I had accident as a horse came in middle of road out of nowhere. I just had to repaint the bumper nothing else. The vehicle has enough space in third row. Also has enough power.

One thing which u missed is rear fog lamps, it is something that tata has given us from a very long time in products like safari 3.0 dicor & 2.2 dicor,safari storme, hexa and aria which looked really cool at night time Bcz apart from alturas and rexton xuv 500 is the only mahindra which had rear fog lamps but the sad part is currently no mahindra car has rear fog lamps.

Indeed one of the best car in its segment. Aerodynamics,Stability,Space,Drivability and Best fuel efficiency I have a 2017 model and drove 115000 kms and it gives me 20 kms average on smooth highways and 16 kms in Hills. Love the machines and its character

I own a tata zest xta 2015 done 160000, ❤ it. Another underrated car. Tata should bring back Hexa, it will more than safari also. Zest will sell more than altroz and nano not sure but is and was a very very good vehicle. I love tata cars only.

Adding to the problems faced in my 2017 Tata Hexa XE posted earlier I had an enroute breakdown while driving from Katni to Bhopal (distance 430km) on 25 June 2023. After driving for about 40 km my ABS light came on followed by another light. As it was 40⁰C plus temperature and my parents both aged 85 years were with me I decided to continue. However soon display went blank, ac & blower stopped working, all electricals i.e. lights, indicators, horn, wipers, windows operation everything stopped working. It became unbearably hot inside & I had no choice but to turn back. As soon as as I turned back engine stopped & failed to start. I had to arrange taxy for my parents to return to Katni and they had to wait in the scorching heat for nearly two hours by the roadside at 85+ years of age. I contacted Tata Motors roadside assistance which reached after nearly 3.5 hours from Jabalpur. Fortunately the vehicle took a jump start & I could drive 50 km to Jabalpur without electricals, horn, indicator etc. After dropping the vehicle & spending the entire day in 40⁰ C plus I (aged 58 years) had to arrange another taxy to return to Katni. The vehicle was in Jabalpur Tata Service Centre for three days during which the electrical system was checked and battery was charged. Apparently a 150 amp(?) fuse had melted causing a series of problems. I was charged about 3400/- for the repairs. After the repairs I had to take another taxy from Katni to Jabalpur, collected my vehicle & drove 350km to Bhopal but all shaken up. The entire episode cost me close to Rs 20000/- including change of travel plans. This Tata Hexa has done only about 34000km in appx four years of running. I am really scared to take this vehicle for any outstation trip, the very reason for which I had bought this SUV.
