In my opinion they won’t add a Mack spinning coaster because they already have enso and because they already have an up charge for that they wouldn’t want something people see as enso but better
The country needs some airtime machines, and handily airtime rides are much less wind sensitive. Any coaster that flies over it's elements rather than crawls over hills and inversions, can run in strong wind. The consequence for being slowed down is less airtime but now valleying. Big one closes so much because it has a shite layout that barely crests it's airtime-less hills, so the wind makes it valley. That's also why they don't load the back of the train half the time
They should have scrapped the Big One instead of retracking it and built a B&M Hypercoaster similar to shambhala. I think a flying coaster would work really well at Blackpool flying over, around and through all the rides. Imagine flying through the loop of Revolution
Unpopular opinion but I can really see them installing Europe's largest drop tower in place of ice blast. I just cant see them installing a new coaster any time soon.
The thing is with Mack Amanda Thompson might be salty that Mack built hyperia I doubt it as Mack is a great manufacturer and icon is really good and B&M hopefully they add a wing and add so many near misses
the only problem in this prediction of a Mack extreme spinner is that there is already an extremely similar experience in ICON's spinning back row and just icon as a whole is pretty similar
All great suggestions but pleasure beach would need a huge loan for this......im guessing thats what they will do for any future investment so im not getting excited at the moment 😉
Yes i think a Mac spinning coaster is what they will go for, i think they have tested the market with icons spinning coaster at the back. Or they could go with a tilt coaster from vercoma, that would be a first in europe now that energylandia has cancelled theirs or one of their new super boomerangs. I do think that it will be a thrill coaster to try and compete with the other parks, but i think they have enough space to build a whole new land with a junior coaster and flat rides as well and i would not be surprised if that is not what they do. I can also see them taking out infusion in the future and putting in a water coaster.
Spinning Mack would be great, There's defiantly a good amount of space to play with which I can only hope that Pleasure Beach use all of it... more than one ride would be so good and great for getting more people to visit!!
I think the area by the car park could fit an Intamin Surf Rider, the park could add a compact roller coaster without having to break too many banks, and plus, it fits the beachside area perfectly! And, from outside, it would be eye catching seeing it fly above the section of The Big One.
If Pleasure Beach likes Mack Rides, I dont think they would get an extreme spinner because Icon already has a spinning seat. Maybe they could get a Big Dipper Coaster, and it could be the Uk's steepest coaster maybe?
You've highlighted just how many rides have gone and how massive the amount of available space is. The days of the Pleasure Beach having loads of rides crammed into a small amount of space have long gone.
Lol 🤣 so they spend all the money on the flat screen vans to build a small ride if ya listen to the director of Blackpool pleasure beach she clearly stated wants to become more of a theme park so doubt it's gona be some small rife struggling they made more profit last year and have been in profit for over the last 6 years so Don't think thete struggling
I think Blackpool needs a whole new retheme to bring in more people and ticket sales more areas like the fountain make other water features n stuff I know they may not have enough money to do this but the money could come back as I said through ticket sales
Personally I don't think Pleasure Beach could afford a B&M as they tend to be the most expensive manufacturer. Vekoma have come along way & could be an option too.
Yeah. Here’s my full prediction for the three “main” parks in England: Alton Towers: Mack Striker in the place of Rita or Galactica (technically DigitalDan’s prediction) Thorpe Park: Family Vekoma Launch like Big Bear Mountain Pleasure Beach: Small-Scale Extreme Spinner
A Mack Extreme spinner is too close to icon, there both multi launches, they both have spinning seats (which would rule enso irrelevant), and why would people chose to go on icon or pay for enso when they can get on a much more thrilling ride next door with free spinning seats???? Me personally I would love to see a vekoma tilt coaster, the GP would eat that up, It would get people going to pleasure beach again!!!
Has anyone stopped having enthusiast brain for ten seconds and thought that maybe they're saying about taking back the height record by building the world's or the uks tallest drop tower. And the grand pre will be replaced with a family boomerang.
That 'spinny' ride you pointed out is called a round up. It's a common ride you see at funfairs and a few amusement parks. Yes, something from B&M would work really well at Pleasure Beach, imagine the view you'd get before the drop, It would also fit the skyline so well 🙌
