Bruh I just remembered we used to do this every single day in elementary and middle school 😂 I’m in my 20s now and I randomly thought about the pledge of allegiance. It’s pretty weird looking back at it but I’m not all hung up on it. 🤷🏻♀️
Not weird it’s just the new generation has been robbed. We are one nation and indivisible means we won’t be divided. Yet new culture says the opposite n yet wants this. Very backwards. Do some research off the mainstream “brainwashing “ channels and watch how much depth you get. We are strong together but the divide and conquer is in full effect right now. We must stand together in love and unity. And it’s weird how ppl talk about rituals n self proclamations everyday n yet consider this foreign lol just saying. God bless you and yours
In this day nd age...this teacher deserves a raise for having her students do what was done in this country for hundreds of years....GOD BLESS AMERICA....MAGA...TRUMP 2024

I miss the school so much it was so fun I hope all the teachers are doing is there especially the teacher I was in the classroom but I really miss all of the kids I was friends with almost all of them and they you guys p you guys kept me safe and that's what I love about you guys I mean you guys always were there when people are sad you guys took us to the nurse when we didn't feel good or yeah you guys just helped us with anything we needed with
Agree. It is one of our FOUNDINGS of our country. Every country has a song and words that express their allegiance and love to honor their own country. If you don't like our country you are welcome to move out of our home
@@brendawhitney6955 I mean, can you be proud lf a country causing lasting birth defects in for example vietnam, or one that boycotted chinese goods for spying, while spying themselves? Yeah. Be loyal to that dumpsterfire.
I love it!!! I was born in Oakland, CA(1993) and raised here from chinese immigrants. And I distinctly remember having to recite the pledge of allegiance everyday in school. And you know what?? I loved reciting it and I still do. My parents made sure at an early age to press the point of how lucky I was to be born as a U.S citizen and the oppurtunities and privileges that comes with it. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with instilling a bit of patriotism into our youth!!! Reciting the pledge was a daily reminder that this beautiful country is our home and that our loyalty lies with our home!!!! God bless this teacher and these wonderful children!!!!
Thank you my family came from Mexico and settled here although I don't have the most this country has given me opportunity now Im striving to become a pilot it's the immigrants who come here that appreciate this country more than the ones who have had generations of History here(some I should say) God I love this country
And you are telling me that to this day you have no idea what the pledge is all about? I find that hard to believe unless you have learning disabilities? Just asking. Plus every teacher tells their students what this is and also it was taught in history class which is now called social studies unfortunately
@@joeblow8893 it's good to love you're country but this is a bit dramatic Let's compare it to comparable things in history: have you heard what they asked children to do a copple of years ago?
This should be brought back into the school again to help young people what America means and our freedom. I grew up in the 50’s. Before classroom started learning we sang this song and every classroom had a flag at the front of the room
It should be removed, no other countries have there flag inside of every single room, force you too stand and and pledge allegiance to it like your in a cult, the only country’s that do are dictatorships that are run by lunatics
I pledged allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for witch it stands one nation under god indivisible and Liberty and justice for all

Ok well how do you think you have that right in Canada. It's because the nation (Canada), its government and its people decide to fight for that very right. You are allowed to think and say your own opinion without somebody throwing you in jail or cutting off a hand or other body parts. I served and traveled the Pacific. I visited a lot of Asain countries and was also deployed to Somalia, Africa. What I witnessed there compared to back in the old 🇺🇸 was a world apart. I thank God everyday I was born here, live here and work here. Remember in Iran there training there pre-schoolers and kindergarten to become martyr. Wow!!!! They don't even let them be kids. Please open your eyes to the threat around cause of where you live your an automatic threat to them. I was called a Mexican here but when I went over seas I was called an American and they wanted to kill me just the same.
@@joeestrada4675 Oi. Joe. What do you call an 18 year old kid who died from an IED delivering his battalion’s laundry if not a martyr? I watched a dude shake and bleed and piss himself till he died. Pretty sure he knew the pledge. That not a martyr Joe?
You guys sound like bots it's an American thing crazy how some people who live in the most just society in the world can complain about it just cause they have nothing better to do go read a book or better yet get a job bums
Tbh theres nothing wrong with giving them the option to do it if they want once they are like 14 but forcing children to show political affiliation to a country is cultist behaviour.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of United States of America into the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice, for all
If I was a parent of any of those kids, I’d file a complaint immediately for posting images of my child online without my explicit permission, and furthermore, I’d get this “teacher” seeking attention, to be disciplined:
Yeah man I'm just realizing that this is pretty cult like. I'm american but have mexican parents and I've recently been hanging out with a german exchange student and she mentioned to me that in germany they learn about american history and how america propaganda is so strong. I went back and she pointed out things we do that seem cult like in germany. This is one of em.

@@goodnoodle5756 you don’t sit on dead men who got their brains the only thing that made them sign that pen on paper for the contract of service drafted or not it’s spilled out onto the mud and they have to have some asshole years later to sit or kneel on them. Think of it that way
I used this video as an example for my child as we discussed the words “agency”, “consent”, “liberty”, “indoctrination” and “ideology”. It was very efficacious to that end. She’s the same age as these children and she’s aware that her reading level is 2-3 grades above her own. From there, she could deduce from the fact that if she didn’t understand half of the words in this pledge then neither had these children. I explained to her that these children would never be taught what these words mean on anything beyond the dominant culture’s semiotic level; and even that wouldn’t happen until long after they’d have memorized them to the degree that to critique them would incite feelings of discomfort and anger as a result of cognitive dissonance. Obviously I didn’t go super hard with the vocabulary but you get the drift. I appreciate that this video exists so that I can easily show my child precisely why I won’t subject her to American “education”, and will instead teach her how to critique and learn.

In mexico we Don't have a pledge of allegionce. Instead once a week we gather the whole school for the raising of the mexican flag, while we sings our national anthem(short version). And at least once a month we do the ten minute (full) version.
