Even though my finished paintings look a lot different from yours, I'm going to try your beginning process. I think it could really help me to loosen up. Your finished product is more impressionistic than mine & I love that. I really like the way you used that soft brush to blur the edges. You managed to keep the colors you'd laid down but softened the edges. I think that part itself will help me loosen up. Thank you for sharing this entire painting. I hope to see lots more.

I agree with another post..your paintings are an "impressionistic" style , if I said that correctly. I really like that style of painting..and your scenes remind me of my childhood living in B.C. Canada.

This one seems difficult to find a focal point, maybe TOO busy for me. That's just me though. 😏

Agreed. I think it all stems from that high chroma middle rock. In the process of fixing that and should have it resolved in a week or so. I’ll post results on Instagram.
