We detected a lot of gold nuggets and rubbish while prospecting our new spot in the Pilbara. Many of these creeks show evidence of recent detecting activities but we still managed to find plenty of gold nuggets with our GPZ 7000! It pays to be persistent in those spots by swinging the metal detector super low and slow.
Other areas were less productive but that’s all part of the game.
Luck was on our side during our first few prospecting days in the Pilbara, Western Australia and there should be many more nuggets yet. Nullagine and Marble Bar can be productive areas for your metal detector.
