The systems in kenya are flawed and enable corruption, period!in tz and ug for example , for minor traffic offenses ,you get fined and pay within a week or a month or instantly. Why crowd jails and courts and waste a whole day for a petty traffic offence?such things need to be looked into.

on PLO parting shot... the judge persecute on basis of the law and evidence... but where have you seen evidence win in a court. the justice system has failed. if courts were fair the bribes would wither (traffic offense in other countries you get a ticket and fine or if you dispute you get court appearance without incarceration; Kenya utazunguka hizo corridors for 5yrs), good example on passports if they would cut the time to process at a cost Kenyans are willing to pay for the express service.
The system is allowing and supporting corruption. Traffic offence si kitu ya kufanya mtu alale ndani. they should introduce a system of of issuing fines and cover all the loopholes.
If the Kenyan Government wants to fight Corruption they should be reasonable on the System of doing things & the polices... they should relax/reduce some fees & fines etc
