maybe you can help me understand why vinyl sounds the way it does. i love how present all the sounds are. it is obvious in pretty much all the recordings i’ve seen on your channel. when i listen to digital music, some sounds/instruments are soft, and coke off as an afterthought. often, the bass guitar sounds low and far in the background. if there are vocals, those will sound present in digital recordings as will snare drums and electric guitars. i know all songs are mixed and mastered differently but there’s a pattern of sound i hear in digital. it’s the same on my iphone, my tv, and my car stereo. even tho vinyl has that inherent noise when a track is about to start, once it does start it’s not distracting at all. all the instruments and sounds are so rhythmic and fun to listen to. i hear so much detail in each sound compared to the same music on digital. and let me point out that i don’t even own a record player! i’m simply picking up on this sound difference using the same source to play your videos and comparing the music that i can find on apple music. do you agree with what i hear? can you tell the difference between digital playback and a record? or is it just me? maybe it helps that i am a musician, idk. many of my friends say they can’t hear the difference. that blows my mind.
Hi there, not sure what future plans for the channel are. Your boy is burnt out and I do not have time in my life anymore to focus on video making. Thinking of taking an extended break (which I’ve already been sorta doing) or just retiring completely
What software do you use to edit your videos and put the Vinyl audio over the camera video? Am thinking of getting into the Vinyl Video Rip community as well.
Hey there, I use Vegas Pro for all of my video editing. Probably not the best editor, but it’s the one I’m most used to and comfortable with using Good luck! Lemme know if you ever get to starting any of that
@@vgmvinyl how do I upload without getting copyright strikes? I don't have many video game soundtracks as I started collecting vinyl 2 years ago but I want to upload the ones I do have specifically klonoah 1 and 2 and ori and the blind forest and will of the wisps. have other soundtracks like spiderman, guardians of the galaxy etc. just don't want to upload and have my channel taken down.
It is impossible to avoid copyright claims, I get them all the time. My channel has never been at risk of being taken down, to this day it remains in “good standing” according to RU-vid
It’s mostly low-risk. Any audio that gets claimed 98% of the time just forces the videos to have ads where the ad revenue then goes to the proper rights holders. I don’t really see that as a bad thing
