the part about ambessa getting her ass kicked back into noxus and then going in reverse actually made me cackle so loudly SDFASDF also another goated mao vid? lets goo
thanks for another awesome video. i do believe a lot of the council and semi important characters die. ones that have importance to the story line but have little plot armor
Ok, I want to understand that sentiment. For me I assume that because jinx shoots a rocket at the council right when they declare peace means that the whole season one was developing her to become the ultimate agent of war, but I might be wrong. What's your interpretation of season 1?
@@maofoneshe’s going to become *more* than her destruction, her being the main bad guy kind of just proves that she was/always will be what she always feared “a jinx” her being the symbol, the leader of a rebellion would be read differently. She finally thinks “maybe I am more than just a jinx” If anything I think she will be on her own side in the end, but not “evil” Plus ambessa and Noxus has been built up to be the bad guy since she was introduced, we even see her soldiers fighting enforcers in the new trailer. It seems like piltover and Zaun will be forced to work together.
There's a unique dichotomy between Jinx's main themes. In season 1 it has all been about destruction and separation and with a lot of season 2 messaging she will be a builder and unifier. For Zaun especially, Jinx will be the Heimerdinger-esque founder for the nation and will definately be heralded in great respect.
Also do want to mention. Blowing up piltover wouldn't make jinx a villain. Depending on the level of catastrophe (something heimerdinger will probably minimize with his sacrifice/experiments) Jinx could redefine the relationship between piltover and Zaunthat is conducive for peace. Especially when both countries learn the true cost of war they can have the Vander revelation and pursue a better future. Jinx blowing up the city would be antagonistic in the short term but just what's needed to be done in the long term. The base violence necessary for change
Thats what i been saying forever. In order to have a LOL adapdtion verse the pre champion characters must turn into their champion selves at the end of each show
Well considering a lot of the reasoning for champions not dying is equally shallow, thematically mentors dying is a common pattern in arcane. For exploding piltover we just have to see.
I'm wondering if we will see Viktor/Jayce/Mel in the season 2 trailers or not, maybe we'll just have to wait. (We've definitely seen them apart from Mel just not in full view, in focus)
we get Piltover becomes a war zone due to noxus causing Piltover to lose pretty much everything as the war destroys all the important stuff like the hex gates. It looks so far the characters and cities will be put in the reverse positions of their counter part as some point. Like zaun becomes the desirable place to live now as noxus will always have to go through Pitlover first solving alot the economic problems between the cities. Like Vi is the new powder who no one wants her help as everything she touches catches on fire, Cat gets to experience what its like being a zaunite realizing she'll never get her justice, Like the hero's have a very outsider perspective on what's wrong and they don't understand why their sibling wants to kill them. So they keep implimenting solutions that never address the problem and just adds rocket fuel to the problem. i just don't see Jinx as the villain as you have the hero's around keep asking for a 50th chance to fix things and it becoming pretty clear they aren't learning from any of their mistakes.
my only question is....if champions die then how are they going to write future stroies for them? Cause they made arcane canon....and its not like its just another skinline in alternate universe...
Some stories can just end. When you have heimerdinger/shaco/rumble/etc they have lore that is essentially nonexistent and you could give that purpose by killing them off. A good reason for not dying is that it might be harder to get people to care about future skin lines as a business decision.
If he has a complete character shift and his goals move away from piltover and his core character themes are changed then hes okay to live. I think thats super likely going into s2 anyways.
Doesn't Vi need to become the sheriff of Piltover first, not just an enforcer? That aside...do we think Jinx can die? I mean, her lore is essentially what's being covered in this new season, her embracing the crazy and burning down Arcane. She could easily die after that
@@maofone Ah, yep. I did my fact check, I completely goofed on who the sheriff is. My bad. Also, the more I think about it, I do agree that it would be a bit...odd and off-putting for Jinx to die, it wouldn't fit like you said.
