Beautiful symmetry, the contrast between the green and the brown really made for an interesting visual. Razor sharp furrows show the skill of the farmer and the dual capability of his tractor. Your GoPro's should get hazardous duty pay but they give us a glimpse into the heart of what's happening inside the machine. Tractorspotter production and editing are the pinnacle of RU-vid videos and I doubt anyone would argue that point. Thanks for all the hard work, it is appreciated.

That is a very efficient set up. It saves on fuel as well as added hours on the equipment. Turning that forage under really adds organic matter to the soil.

Crazy how fast that mower can be fed.

Prachtige beelden. Ecoploegen is volgens mij de toekomst maar zelf ben ik er dit jaar niet aan begonnen om er een uit te proberen door de natte taaie grondomstandigheden waarbij een 4 schaar met 4x38 cm. op 22 cm. diep met 1 ondergronder al zwaar genoeg trok (115 PK) en een collega met een 8 schaar Eco en 200 pk niet goed kon werken. Daarom wat meer informatie gewenst zoals bandenmaat + spanning, frontgewicht, rijsnelheid, datum van de opname. Ook de lengte van de ploeg is hier (NOP) een nadeel omdat we vaak zonder kopakkers werken is het gunstig om van vooras t/m laatste schaar minder dan 6 m. te hebben.

This is the perfect video to show how to adopt the green manure method, by using a mower on the front of the tractor he is breaking down the plant material before it is plowed under, where it will decompose slowly adding nitrogen into the soil and breaking up the soil thereby allowing water and oxygen into the soil. If every farmer in the world would adopt the green manure method this planet and the people living on it would be healthier. As we would no longer need chemical fertilizer or pesticides and herbicides!!! Think of the earth farmers, go back to being the good stewards of the land.

I have question of another kind, when I was in school in the 1970's my father had a very strange tractor, a cultivating type, it had a Volkswagen 1600 engine at the back, it was so wide that it had two steering wheels that is connected with each other, when you turn around at the end of the land you jump into the other seat to follow the wheel direction, in the middle of the tractor underneath you could attached several implements to take out wheat between the rows, it had relatively high and very thin rear tractor tires and normal in the front but also thin. On the engine cover at the back I remember a name like Combi or Kombi. It was blue in colour. Very close to our farm was, and still today is a German village called Kroondal, a lot of German farmers own the lands and farm there till today, I believe the tractor was imported by them, we purchased the farm from a Holland speaking Gent, his surname was Shurnfelder or something. We sold the farm in the late 70's and never saw the tractor again but I believe it sit still somewhere in the district of Rustenburg South Africa which is the closed big town, somebody bought it in the region. I surge now for years on the internet and RU-vid videos of antique equipment in Europe with no luck, It will make my day if somebody can identify this tractor and where it came from and on what site can I see one. I will be pleased if someone can sent me a picture to jankotze8@gmail.com did you perhaps saw one in your traveling and visits? what makes it very unusual is the wideness and two steering wheels with a VW beetle engine. Hope to hear from you or anybody that can identify this tractor or self propelled cultivator/planter. Thank You

Farmers in Europe must wear out the clutch and transmission twice as fast. They back up every round! Why not do rounds or lay off lands. I’d like to understand the benefits, they are hard for me to see.
