Hi daggerwin yes the chosen map definitely is the right one for this vintage survival series looking at the map of all fields it’s a huge map with quite a lot of fields on it with huge potential to expand and grow the farm further in the future of the series yes definitely doing contracts would really help you to bring in extra money on top of your own harvest income and the bales of clover maybe or if you choose to use a loading wagon maybe to pick up the cut clover that potentially could bring in lots of money Definitely doing contracts might help you fund the mower you need plus the baler or loading wagon and the Massey Ferguson tractor I think that 3080 series Massey Ferguson tractor would be a good fit for your farm daggerwin even the classic 690 T if I remember correctly from letton farm would fit this map and farm very nicely I’m really loving this new vintage survival series you had me laughing out loud when you got stuck on the electric fence with the fiat and said how electrifying classic 😂 you put a smile on my face 👍
This is going top be a great series. The map is very immersive and I love that you are going to do contracts. That little field could have been a neighbor that swung by and asked if you would doing it for them. These communities are usually pretty tight. Love it!!!!
Absolutely loving this series. You’ve inspired me when I was losing interest in 22. Was about to give it a rest until 25 comes out. Thank you @Daggerwin.
good start for me, I could suggest the FIAT 682 truck to stick with the fiatagri vibes :) There are other cool Fiat and Someca mods available, or New Holland like for example the TR series combine, seldom seen ! If you're going with the eastern european vibe, maybe some leftover MTZ , Belarus stuff, not sure about the Eastern Germany equipment, there are some pretty good mods there too :) Cheers
I saw this type of combine today in a theme park in germany, we could enter lanz bulldog tractors and were driven through the seasons of vintage harvesting. Great experience
Hey Daggerwin if you haven't found a good "in period" tedder/ windrower yet I highly recommend the Agromet "Farmarol" Stupsk Z211/2. Its cool because you have to get out and manually lower it with the side wheel, and to change it from transport, Ted, or windrow go to the rear wheel. Its not hydraulic based so your non 3 point tractor would do well with it. It worth a look cheers!
Regarding the crop withering, I think you have to accept compromises like that when playing 1 day months. Consider if a crop is realistically ripe for a week, thats 6 hours of the game day, so if it then loses yield until fully withered as you propose and you get up at 0800, some of your crops might already be partially withered, and others might only become ready as it gets dark in the evening... Enjoying the series so far, your use of the Fiat tractor on this map had me looking up to see if Polski Fiat made tractors or only cars (only cars it turns out). I remember a trip to Poland in 1992 not only discovering that Polski Fiat existed, but that almost everyone drove a 125 or 126.
I have to ask: Is there any particular reason why you do not arrange your series into Playlists anymore? RU-vids' algorithm seems to hate suggesting the next parts of the series to be "played next" or in the sidebar feed. This makes trying to follow your (or anyone elses') series really cumbersome if they are older than a week or two. Love your content even tho it's hard to follow sometimes due playlist problem.. :)
It would be really cool to see you use old IH tractors like the 66 series IH tractors. And or JD 4040, or like 4340s or something. Just my opinion but I love your content either way.
i know i just commented on the first episode, but i can 1005 say that the oil seed radish is a cover crop that works great for fertilizing. i use it in 23 mobile and i love it
At around 21 minutes in, I can't help thinking I wish the timelapse music was vintage as well as the equipment. The modern tune doesn't seem to fit somehow.
A Farmall 1066 could be a good bet. I think its 140hp, hydraulic drive. big beefy boy but not crazy exspensive. I think the one I have is the Giants anniversray one they made a couple years ago. International Harvester anniversary pack DLC.......cant remember the proper name of the pack though. Nice tractor though!!
Could you place an object over the "futuristic" Lely Astronaut in the cowbarn? Basically cover up any of the non-vintage items on the map. That probably would have to be in the map itself since object placement can get a little wonky.
1990s and down??? John Deere 9600, John Deere 9200, John Deere, John Deere 4020, John Deere 5020, John Deere 4440 (in case you couldn't tell I prefer John Deere lol)
There is a mod that allows you to only display mod items in the store. That could be useful for a series like this so that when you go into the store you dont see the modern equipment.
@Daggerwin Why not combine both this serie and the previous one by playing a little bit more realistically, for exemple using manual attach, not using super strength etc...?
Hey daggerwin if been watching your videos for 4 years and zi have no friends 😢You are my fav RU-vidr I ❤your survival role play and vintage survival so it would mean the world to my if you loved this comment K I also subed on 7.8.24
Don't buy the the farm next door with the cows! A bit like on your previous series, you can't open the barn doors and I don't believe the cows become yours.
as much as I love these old school series, it bothers me so much that all these vintage old machines never break down :D in order to be atleast a little realistic you would have to spend the same amount of time being in workshop fixing all the broken things as working with it in the fields ...:D
That's not how it works there is licensing, extra scripting and polycount to consider its quite delusional to believe that all pc mods should come and work on console lmao
Great stuff Daggerwin! Might need to clean your "H" key mechanism though, "PLOUGING" should be "PLOUGHING" in the video title… delete this comment if you fix it! 😊
This is gonna same as last 2. Only doing field work same thing over and over. No building stuff. Skip through it fast and just as I thought, field work. Boring these series
