I cracked the code for these products - I first put the paint, then the base in the corresponding color on top. The paint gives the opacity, but it can crack sometimes or go patchy if I'm not careful. The bases are not opaque, but on top of the paint, they give the perfect stickiness and blendability. Ideal for underneath powder eyeshadows

Hiya, I got the set of 4 duo drops and I agree with you, I'm happy with the price I paid, and don't think I'd pay £20 per pot! They are gorgeous on though. They stay put on my hooded lids and last all day. I love how quick they dry down. Hopefully they don't dry out in the pot before I get chance to use them up! x

Oh wow you got a good deal then for all 4! Wish I’d of gotten them all when they were on offer. I’m going to play around with them some more! See how to make them last and not crease. Did you use a thick layer or a thin layer? X

@@kerry_k well I started with a thin layer but added more! So I'd say probably about the same amount you used. I did it quick before it started drying, then I kept my eyes shut whilst it dried to help it not to crease, it seemed to do the trick 😁 x

So I have a similar product from Colourpop and they dried out. But I added saline solution to them and they came back to life.

Wow :-O that green though.... its stunning!! I know how it feels when you open something and feel cheated that its not full. I'm the same when I open up a packet of crisps and its three quarters air (if you're a crisp lover, you know the emotional pain I'm talking about!!) but I can't get over the colour of it. It's friggin gorgeous. I'll have to wait for another sale to swoop in and grab one :)

Thank you for making a video about the cosmetic paints. I bought a bundle of them a few months ago. I haven't been able to find many videos on RU-vid about how to use them. I bought a bundle of the colored bases too. So, do you just recommend the bases for under eyeshadows?

Yes! The bases work great under shadows. I need to get mine out more often and not just use them for my waterline xx

I think the reduced price of the duo drops is worth the price lol would never pay full price they are so slow to dry down, I swatched a tiny bit on my hand super sheered out and 10 mins later still smudged! They are super gorgeous and reflective but I do prefer them as like a liner or sheer tapped out shimmer on a dark eyeshadow or base. I don’t mind the pot size as long as I get the weight I paid for hehe. Gorgeous look as always Xx

Yes full price is a lot but I can’t complain at the price I got them for ❤️ ahh maybe that was why mine sheered out maybe I need to have a quick nap so my lids can dry down before I blink 🙈😂 I was so shocked at the amount of product you get, I was hoping for more x
