Nicely done. That's a nice kit. The Enhanced MEST from BCO is a good piece of kit for folks to have - very versatile.

Nicely rigged. Like the ridge line as a "foundation" and the little details, such as the hi-viz line on the stakes so you can see them in the dirt!

Why is such a logical and simplified method of attaching your rear pull-out to the ridge line with a prussik but I'd never think of doing that in two life-times? Great idea. Nice emergency shelter, looks totally functional.

I run a plow point shelter with my poncho when using my bivy for camping. Works great.

I just made a plow point tarp shelter using the traditional front pole. This might actually be easier to set up. I need to try this one.I like that there is nothing in the front of the shelter to get in the way.

Thought it was a Chaplin silent film at first lol. I've never seen this setup before. It looks like it can be very versatile. Will be practicing this one.

A long time ago, some guy taught me to hold the stake in my hand with my hand "palm up" when hammering in stakes...Wait, that was you! Saved me a few knuckle hits over the years.

Hackberry Tree, Technora Ridge, Prussic, Vargo stakes, Poncho hood tie off, and pops right out of the G-2 Roll. Very cool! I have water pure kit in my Mother, and have been thinking about Fire, Shelter, and Navigation for the G-2 Roll. Could you S-roll the Enhanced MEST and just do a pull out deployment? Good video, no blab, just do, explain and bail!

It's been a while, do you still use this tarp setup? It was the way I intuitively set up my tarp before I got into bushcraft. It provides good coverage while making the most of your tarp's diagonal.

Im having a hard time deciding on the enhanced mest tarp or the enhanced mest poncho. Pretty new to getting out to the outdoors, i think the most use will come in a tarp use and not a poncho, but i like that i can use it as a poncho if need be. How much smaller does the tarp pack down than the poncho?

I didn't catch how to turn that loop into Prusic knot. Where can i learn that? Thanks much for what you do young brother!!
