I do normally have some weight in the back but had to take it to my mom and dads place so had to take the extra weight out. They can sure push some snow tho. Thank you for watching our videos.
Don't know if you want too go with a better plow but I have a ranger I bought a vplow boss power angle that plow works great heavy enough goes to the ground and stays there.those machines work great
In the future I would like to upgrade to something with a bit more sturdy frame, I wasn’t able to get the frame i actually wanted due to availability. I made some adjustments with this plow by adding the side fins and building a add on for the top and seems to work way better than the stock setup. I have looked at the boss plows and would like to upgrade at some point. They sure are awesome machines with so much potential to do so many things. Thank you for watching and your great comment.
I have a Ranger 1000 with the hydraulic 72” glacial plow, and auto stop winch. 100% recommend it. You could just angle the plow, lower it half way and shave off those banks without ever using a shovel. Get the heater too, worth every penny. Nice machine bud.
Sounds like a sweet setup. I have the 72” Polaris Glacier plow on mine as well. It is a good build plow it seems like. I was not able to get the mount I wanted due to availability but it still works great. I added wings and a 7 inch section to the top of the plow to help move more snow. The way my drive way it I don’t have room for slop over on the sides, so we have to push it all the way to the end of the drive. I agree, the heater is worth every bit of what I paid for sure. Plowing at -25/-30 Fahrenheit would sure suck without it!!! Thank you for watching our videos and your comment.
I haven’t had any issues with it shifting, only thing I have seen with it is when you go from low into high it seems a bit tight or harder to shift to high. I think that may be a safety fracture tho, maybe to keep from accidentally shifting into high when you want to be in low. One we have out at work does have problems when plowing with it when you shift. Seems like it has a delay when going to reverse and hitting the gas. May be able to adjust something or check with the dealer for a fix if you have one with some shifting problems, could be the cable is loose. I know they do stretch after some time.
I would like to have a blower at some point, just wasn’t in the budget for this year. We don’t normally have that much snow all at one time but last year was one heck of a winter for some crazy storms. Thank you for watching our videos!
