Well, we're at the end of the 2023 SX season here in Salt Lake City. Seems like the perfect time to start a podcast right? Let us know what you think and be sure to hit us with a like!
This was amazing! I’m a 35 year old blue collar worker with 5 kids. I respect you more for showing your emotions on the Box. I’m teaching my children to be themselves and show their emotions. Thank you again for your honesty.
AC you’ve been my fav rider for many years now for all the reasons that makes this podcast great: your humility and honesty and just straight up badassness! Keep it up brother!!
Adam, you're the man! I remember screaming for you in Indianapolis in 2014 and being sooo bummed when your shoulder popped out later that year. I love watching you grow as a person and a rider. Keep it up. We need people like you.
Love the podcast man and honestly we as a sport have the personalities like you, Jo, country boy AP and Malcolm who have the opportunity to be that star power we seen in other sports that help make the sport bring more fans . Hope to see you at Budds Creek
Adam is a great conversationalist and it's always a treat to hear his angle because he's genuine, modest, and truly loves the sport. It's great to watch the conversation and not just listen as it always adds more connection to the listeners. It takes time for the quality to improve on these podcasts, but you guys nailed the audio quality. This podcast has a ton of potential! If I could recommend adding some soft lighting and bringing the camera closer to the conversation as it will keep us viewers more engaged. Great first podcast!
Adam YOU need to be that guy who runs the "riders union" you in my eyes are the right fit for that position! The question is do you have the time to be that guy as well as a factory rider trying to win races?
This is everything I wanted. Very thankful for AC doing this cast and adding true depth to the sport. I love hearing someone actually speak from their brain and heart, not the regurgitated bs we commonly hear. You really did great here, AC. Thank you
Cool!! AC, very well spoken.... my years.. decades in sports, sports entertainment and rock stars... you have the gift of being well spoken. Yes, the big thing is the TV deal and for fans in teh US and all around the world, we love the fact we can watch SX and MX (hopefully) all year long now with a quality broadcast, on the same platform.
I’m happy ur back and I was in tears when u got that 3rd last week u work so hard all the injuries also when u do retire they better snatch u up for commentary ur so good at talking congrats Adam
Love it man. This and pulp show will be my two main shows going forward. Stoked for you Adam I relate to you and your personality so much. Thank you for what you do, you’re more than #9 in my book!
The struggle is real! Glad you are finding peace. You have a lot to be proud of and have achieved more than most, even though it may not be a complete dream come true for you I have a feeling you're beginning to feel content. Moto is just the first chapter of a deeper story! It's a long road with many obstacles, Enjoy the ride! Thanks for sharing your journey.
Perfect launch with the recent podium. Thank you for being venerable and showing your true self. I’m excited for future episodes and to see what the outdoor season brings! 🎉
As somebody who started writing 7475 the tough guy era it’s good to see the emotions on the box off the box just being yourself being goofy whatever you want to be. That’s the best way to be appreciate your time and your effort that you put in.
Glad you had this talk. I’ve loved Mx for 36 yrs and enjoy learning who the racers is without the helmet on. You have a good attitude and have a good perspective. You have a bright future ahead.
I actually thought it was great podcast adam!! Love the insite and straight honest view from you!! And ive always been a fan of you..how cant someone like ya..great personality!!!
Good stuff AC! I've always been a fan, but watching your recovery and the perspective you bring because of it has been awesome. Your recent interview at Loretta's where you say "i just want to go out and get roosted!" Legend. You embody the sport buddy, looking forward to seeing what you can do on the mic and on the track. 👏
Listened to the whole ep y’all! Skaterat at heart but diehard moto fan the last few years. Doing PT for my ACL currently while listening wrecked my 450. Stoked to see some more progress AC!
Dude when we see a top rider put up a RU-vid video me personally fast forward through the riding we know you can ride we want to hear what got you here can’t wait to hear 🤙
Thanks for the content! I’ve been looking out for AC podcast always cool to hear it come from someone who’s behind the gate Saturday night. Keep fighting
YES!!!!!! Thank you Adam! An AC podcast is exactly what the sport needs. Your candour and insight make you a unique voice in the crowd. Can't wait for episode2 !
Dude this was awesome - the sport has been so closed off to showing individuality and the stories of the athletes for years but hearing AC talk about how he thinks beyond just racing is really cool for the fans who want to get to know these guys for more than just who they are on a Saturday in front of all the lights & cameras. Keep this up man I dig it!
Very good episode! Hopefully you continue this podcast and even bring on some of your other friends or other riders to get different perspectives that maybe haven’t been talked about
Great start for a new podcast, I really miss all the Go-to riding videos you used to post. My suggestion for the name of your podcast, AC's On The Fritz
I like this podcast especially AC as a commentator, i miss your vlogs like one in Perris CA track with little Mcadoo, your a great entertainer and make me want to ride at the local track!
Great podcast.. my only complaint is there is to many commercials (ads). Other than that, solid and I’ll be a regular listener bro. Keep it up AC, we’re all here for ya
Great show! On the question of motocross ever becoming “mainstream” ala baseball or football, no way possible! The cost of participation is just waaaaay too high for the average person. Motorsports will never be as accessible as stick and ball sports. I grew up racing MX as an amateur in the 70’s and 80’s, my dad bought me new bikes every year, some years two or more bikes. I have three boys now and I couldn’t even conceive of trying to take even one of them racing at todays costs. And if one of them expressed some potential talent, I could see the pursuit bankrupting our family. I regret not being able to share the experience of racing with them, but I am not missing the injuries and costs. I love motocross, I still think it is the greatest sport in the world, but it has a very expensive, heart breaking and brutal side to it that will never allow it to grow into something that could be considered “mainstream”. It will always be a sport barricaded by expense to the relative few.
