Never heard this song... But I have recently come to know and love Plumb. I have been called nice, naive and beautiful and hung on to the pain that is caused by being taken advantage of. :) Through God what you do with it can turn beautiful. I totally get it Plumb, love this song.
I was in an abusive relationship for a year, but I survived thanks to help from my mom. When I heard this song, I cried because it was the first song I'd ever heard that I could fully relate to. I now have "nice naive and beautiful" tattooed on my back. This song will forever be my strength :)

This describes me to a T. I haven't been able to cry in so long. And tears came to my eyes thinking about the lyrics. I'm 'nice' to everyone as a show. I know I'm naive. And for the longest time, I couldn't see my beauty through my own insecurity. It's still hard sometimes. The 'he' part of the song doesn't suit my life, but the pain certainly does. I have the worst luck. The first person I actually fell in love with I had no chance with. I'm bi. Two genders and a world of people and I have to fall in love with a straight girl who comes from an area with rather intolerant views. Just my rotten luck. And I've been trying to get over her for the past year or so. And it hasn't worked yet. I'm not even out of the closet and I have to fall in love with a straight girl. Plus, I have anger management problems and I hate the feeling rage fills me with. So there's that too.
