Why are plumbers not using PVC pipes in non hot water areas? It saves so much money for house owners. Even the suppliers are encouraging this as it costs double than that of PVC. Unbelievable practices...🤷♂️.

True.. but in a system were cold water and hot water is there in the same tube and also as the geyser's hot water is just over 80°c the cold water which is also on the other side of the system will reduce the overall temp. If the water on the overhead tank is over both hot and cold water will not be there. Aldo, the cold water flow rate is more than that of the hotwater as the cold water comes directly from overhead tank but the hot water comes from the geyser that is inside the bathroom. For solar water heater connection ordinary pvc cannot be used, but for other it can be used.. the hot water from geyser to mixer also needs cpvc. 🙏👍
