I am still trying to figure out an ideal system. Currently I just put tape of the sides and hope it breaks at the right time and angle.

​@sinkingships2438 OK because I'm trying to make a titanic boat to sink on my yt and it wouldn't be good titanic if it didn't split

​@90sman2cool if u want to make 2 models, you can make a full length one wirh no split. Use that for th3 beginning of the sinking. Then have a 2nd model thats already 2 pieces. Then edit them together and no one is of the wiser. Of if u only want to make one model, i suggest figuring out the geometry and have angled beams that connect the 2 pieces. They stay together under normal action of the ship. But once sinking and reaching a downward angle of 8to10 degrees, its enough to let them release. Ive made 2 prototypes using this type of system and it works but ypu have to get it just right to work like a charm
