He reminds me of Jeff Buckley in both his ability to show so much emotion in his singing and his songs that are strange and beautiful in timbres only Josh knows it seems. These songs are perfect example of that I think. Songs like mojo pin jump to my mind as quick example. Keep Going Josh! You have given so much. Thank You. They could have done one more album and tour with Josh, and then asked John back afterwards. Gives Josh plenty of time to plan for life after, while also giving him the vote of confidence this time over John.
Josh is good but he isn’t John. The RHCP aren’t the same without John. It doesn’t have anything to do with Josh or any of the other guitarists that the RHCP have had. The fact of the matter is that the chemistry between the original band members is unmatched. I mean listen to Dark Necessities. It’s a great song but it could be amplified. I mean there is a piano solo where a guitar solo could’ve/should’ve been. The RHCP are a rock band not a piano band
