They are really married? Not surprised. Such a beautiful movie. The ex girlfriend friend and the mom’s behavior was annoying but they both humbled themselves. ❤

I love Amish movies. I have never been disappointed with one and this was perfect. Brought out all the emotions. Ohhh am cutting onions here😢😂❤❤❤😅😊. I really loved the movie. Jessie is a heart throb and so is April with her red hair. She has such a radiant personality. Thank you for sharing.
This movie reminded me to always have a forgiving heart. We really never can truly put people in a position that they are not allowed to change for the good ❤
The moral to this story is let your kids choose their own path in life let them love who they love no matter where they’re from except them as they are and love them unconditionally
Yes, Paris was a stretch, but it seems he had been thinking of marriage all the while. I felt good watching this movie, a balance of drama, believable acting and actual events that could happen today. It has been a long time that I could trust a movie to unite instead of push isolation & violence. This was a joy to watch!
"He could have been hiding a lot worse than a butter churn!" 😄 Watched it twice and it still made me laugh! It was so nice to watch a movie where the girl is not a total jerk to the guy and then the guy still falls for her!
Good movie. As a Muslim, I find the Amish way of life very fascinating. They got many things right. I wouldn't mind living without electricity, cars and devices. We English could learn so much from them. Respect and salaam to the Amish community.

Agreed! At first I thought it was the gorgeous David Kaufman (watch Loving Leah - you'll fall in love with David!) ... they could be "brudas" except I think this actor is a little taller.

Thank you for sharing your Amish experience! I didn't grow up Amish but generations from Switzerland and Germany did. The food tradition continued even though the religion did not. My grandmother was the first generation not to speak German. My family went from the Anabaptist to being Dunkards and The Brethren Church. I am very grateful for my heritage and now knowing Jesus as my Lord and Savior. God has brought us into the fullness of the Holy Spirit. How blessed I am.

Oh goodness his mother coming for her made me cry ,I had someone on my life used to say his mum would love me and in my mind I always wanted to hug 🫂 wanted to be her daughter instead of daughter-in-law I had fallen in love with her and always wanted her to be my mother because she doesn't have a daughter 😢😢
I really loved that flm, it was so sincere and full of pure love. I fed up with films full with violence, sex and other corrupted things. I think this kind of movies have to be increased again. Humans need to see normal things, like family, love, children etc.
I liked this movie. I happened to visit one Amish family. I had also visited the town known as 'Intercourse' in Pennsylvania and bought some items Amish community. It is really unique that they live opting out electricity, automobile, and many modern things even though they live in the midst of modernity. I observed that their livelihood depends on agriculture and dairy farming. They are good carpenters too. It is good this movie centres around such a lovely tiny community.
Really enjoyed this movie. Seemed mostly realistic with trying to cross cultures and each party willing to grow to encourage love rather than distance.

Very beautiful country. it seemed there was a difference in cultures at the first meting of the mother and girl. friend. Things turned out good for everyone. The mother realized that she couldn't control her children's lives and thing turned out good for all of them. Thanks for a very good movie. (Mississippi gulf Coast, USA).
What a great movie!!!! I've been binged watching the movies on RU-vid these days but this one topped every other movies I watched. Hats off to all the actors and actresses. From a mother's point of view, it is so sad to see a mother so afraid of losing their children and if they don't want to, they have to lose their kids to their newfound beliefs.
Really turned into a great tear jerker of a romance movie ; it seemed to be just a little bit of a romance because you didn't really even see them kiss each other any time through out the movie. 😢😢❤❤
I enjoyed the movie but one strange thing caught my eye - gray roots of the mother's hair showing that her hair was dyed. Amish women don't dye their hair!
