The long cardigan is so beautyfull. I was an 80 s teen too, yep bending the dresscodes too lol I also still own a simular, drop waist dress in green. And yes I loved the leggwarmers, big hair and big bright jewelry too The 80 s were a grate time! Hug!

The dresses are lovely but I think you made the right decisions on which to send back. The shawl looks very classy. I never liked my school uniform and loved the New Romantic style so used to wear my white shirts with frills and puffy sleeves 😊 xx

It is very versatile and suits you perfectly. I agree with you on the green dress, it was definitely pulling and you looked a bit uncomfortable in it but it's a shame as it is a lovely dress. Ignore Emma 🤣 Those dog tooth trousers looked lovely on. They are very slimming too and I've always been a sucker for a turn up on trousers. You certainly know how to style pieces you wear. Hi I think the grandma trousers suit you. All the dresses looked good . We used to fold over the waistbands of skirts at school to shorten. Also we would wear our ties really big knot and short. Aww them were the days xx😘

Hello, just wanted to say your hair looks lovely! The blue and white/ white and blue reversible shawl is lovely. It reminds me of cape cod chic! Don’t know if that comparison works across the pond. Cape cod is a wealthy seaside community. Where classy ladies live. You would fit right in with that outfit. Love the trousers. I would have to disagree with dear Emma. I agree with your choices. All the looks were really great!! You have wonderful taste in clothes...and devote, too. As to the pants Emma doesn't like 👍 I like them and you should keep them. I like the black & white dress that was also in question👍 (as long as money or horading is not an issue, what I would tell anyone ☺). But my 3 fave pieces (becuz I couldn't choose only one 😂) 1. The reversible shawl 2. The 1st teal dress 3. The coat. Yes all excellent choices!!👍👍😍💞💜

When I was at comprehensive school in tha late 60s I got pulled up by the head of year because I wasnt wearing my tie, "I am miss! I said " I turned around and showed her that I had tied it around my ponytail - I got 2 days detention for being lippy.🤣🤣

I was always in trouble for wearing my white chino shirt, it had little embroidered badges on the pockets and tortoise shell buttons. Also my white leather moccasins lol

Elaine you’re just like me I’m an apple shape with slim legs & it’s an absolute pain trying to get trousers or jeans to fit. I can wear baggy jeans but the fact that my legs are my smallest part means I don’t want to cover them in baggy jeans/ trousers. I never had this problem when I was young but now I have no waist & a huge gut. I’m fed up with trying to lose weight I’m 66 in November I want to enjoy my food. The khaki jeggings funnily enough I bought some identical in Asda for £12.50 in a 14 I love em. Now Elaine I love the dogtooth trousers but they don’t do you any favours they are far too creased on leg, you don’t wanna be likened to Nora Batty now do you 😂. I love listening to you and seeing all the bits you do all the best Lindy.x

I like the check trousers. I have a similar pair in a black and white check. But then I’m 67 so maybe that tells you something. 😹 I style them up to look 1950s or 1960s so I think they look cool. Love the first blue dress.

Absolutley, i bent every rule not just uniform. My friend and i were just talking about our school uniform. Wevstarted a trend wearing a polo/ turtle neck under our school blouse in winter. We were 70s kids.We thought we were so cool.😂

I thought the blue Asda dress was beautiful but a bit too tight on the bust and underneath and also the green dress was also tight but it’s how you feel in it Elayne that’s what matters and the granny trousers looked ok on loved the black and white shorter dress on you

Elaine you should have got some leg warmers when you tried it on😂. The first George dress is my favourite. I went to school in the 60’s so mini skirts, but the school skirts were longer so we rolled them over at the waist, I mean some of my skirts were like belts they were that short, blame it all on Mary Quant

Love the ones you are going to keep, not sure about the dogtooth. My school days were the 70’s in a strict convent, my Mom sent me to get some sensible shoes and I got platforms, so high I had to take them off to get on and off the bus! Needless to say I was sent home😂

Elayne the green flowered dress is my favourite It’s beautiful and you suit the colour. Don’t keep the trousers cos you’ll think about what Emma said and not wear them. It’s a pity the dress was tight across the bust I think you suited it. I liked everything else but in my opinion sorry not the nostalgia dress Elayne I’m gonna ramble again I’m afraid. We had a grey pleated skirt as school uniform. Well we had nowt when I was a kid so only had the one. My cousin Val lived with us after her Mam died when she was 11 We were the same age. Well one day a dog that lived over the back. The barmy dog we called it Used to jump the fence and attack you. We were terrified of it. This day it got Val ripped her skirt half way round the bottom and ran off Well I couldn’t help but laugh. I didn’t laugh long though. She’d worn my skirt as I’d been off that day To say I looked like a right rag bag with the badly sewn skirt for school was an understatement. The good old days 😂😂

Hi Eylane, lovely vlog, may I say kindly the beautiful turquoise dress size up, the black/white one (shorter) looks so more flattering on not so tight on the boobs. I prefer the jeggings over the brown check ones cos you have lovely slim legs they looked a little baggy. I actually have the Tesco striped short sleeve jumper it looked beautiful on you, washes well too xx

I find Tu sizes really odd they are massive on the hips and a lot of dresses have too much fabric in the skirts

I hate splits in clothes at the side,they draw attention to big backsides
