NICE!!!! As a 63 year old dude that saw Heart live in NYC, Madison Square Garden in the late 70's, it is so refreshing to see the much younger generations picking up and playing my era music and killing it!!!!! Great job!!!!
I got to see Heart 5 times, all at county fairs. In the mid 80’s, Howard Leese came to one of my shows at the Troubadour in Hollywood. He was incredibly nice and gave me a very nice compliment on the band and my guitar solo.
I didn't know it was a cover. It sounded completely like the original artist. I grew up in the 70s, 80, and 90s, but I was always into heavy metal, rock, and blues. I heard this song on the radio, tv, and other places a billion plus times.
Moriah has been singing this for several years now and I’ve never heard a bad rendition. She has a powerful voice but she controls it very well. Glad to see she is still out there! 🤘
You must check out Gretchen Wilson covering this song with Alice in Chains w/Nancy Wilson providing the music. No disrespect to Plush. But....... you be the judge.
I came in skeptical. Many have tried and failed on this one. Great job, Plush. The vocalist hit it naturally, not forced. She has the range. The band sounds tight playing it loose in all the right ways. Call me impressed.
I got to see her at NAMM (with her solo band) on the outdoor stage in 2020 and she KILLED those vocals! Glad to see her and her band playing these great shows. They all rock 🤘
Listen to the original recording. Sorry, but it wasn't an exact reproduction. The guitar harmonics were fairly close but not exact, the ascending riff at the end wasn't exact either because one of the guitarists didn't play it an octave higher. Ya I'm nitpicking lol, but you know what I mean. However, the vocals were really awesome and the band pulled off a really great version.
@@Baribrotzer Very true; could also be that with so many other bands there having so many wireless hookups could make for a lot of potential interference.
…wow that bass player and guitarist can’t be understated… they are having a blast! This is beautiful…. And ya know… her voice is obviously epic! Amazing thanks to the poster
@@thealternative9580 Yup. People forget Plush isnt on a major record label. They have talent and still cant get a major label deal. Maybe if they played pop punk they would since that seems to be the only kind of rock music the big labels sign these days.
Plus, theyre a cover act. Cover acts don't get "big". They MIGHT b able to make a living doing it for awhile if they were strictly a Heart tribute band that people want to see. But talented as they may be, unless they start writing original and get in with all the right people, they won't go much further than their own region/surrounding states.
Another stellar performance! I never thought I'd hear another artist match Ann Wilson's notes on this classic, but here ya go folks. I present to you Moriah Formica and Plush!
Well she just won me over as a fan. Not only is she an incredible vocalist she’s absolutely beautiful in a earth goddess way. These ladies shouldn’t be opening for anyone. They can definitely stand on their own.
@@mikeoxinya570 ... Yeah, she actually does. So good that Nancy on stage just nodded at Gretchen when she nailed it like only Ann could. Go look up VH1 with AIC and Gretchen
ain't it though? totally solid all-around. Usually chick bands don't quite get there on the aggression level...not in this case...this was Balls To The Wall.
They nailed it. Great job girls. My daughter was the one who told me about them, she's a fan of this group and Heart. She's the one that keeps me informed of all the new stuff.
Ann Wilson has such a unique and powerful voice. It's great to see Moriah performing Heart covers with that same power and feeling. A great cover and a great video, thanks for sharing.
It’s insane how good this is. I never imagined anyone but Nancy singing it like that, but she nailed it, and the band held it down, almost note for note cover.
I have seen several videos of these gals and they are legit...they have some real chops...and the gal on lead vocals is just killing this HEART song... really good stuff....🎸🎸🎸
Girl bands kick ASS ! Excellent job ! Heart was a girl power band. Sisters Anne and Nancy created everything together. Your crew has got it going on ! Thanks for working so hard !
If you had your eyes closed and I played this I doubt anyone would think this was a cover...and it's live, so no studio masking or filters. I've read the comments and I concur, this is the best cover I have ever heard....even calling it a cover is almost insulting...it's a reproduction. Thank you for keeping the soul of this song and not trying to "make it your own" or putting your own "twist" on this classic. HEART would be proud...
It's not their song, therefore it's a cover version. However, they played it faithfully and didn't alter it in any way. Reproduction imho means a perfect, identical copy. It wasn't. BUT the band did a fantastic job and the vocals were flawless
These ladies are really a great and talented quartet...This rendition of "Barracuda" is the best I have ever seen or heard by any band. I was totally blown away by this...
Great justice done here to one of the truly greatest rock and roll voices ever in Ann Wilson! Excellent 👍 very impressed ❤️ also you've managed to combine both Wilson sisters here... Ann's singing with Nancy's guitar playing! Beautiful ❤️
